Pebblebee Card 5 and Pebblebee Clip 5: New AirTag alternatives

The tracker brand Pebblebee is launching two new devices on the market, the Card 5 and the Clip 5, which directly compete with Apple AirTags. Both products have been specially developed for users who want to reliably locate items such as wallets, keys or bags – whether with an iPhone or Android device. The new trackers score points with rechargeable batteries, modern data protection technology and an elegant design that clearly sets them apart from other trackers.

In a nutshell:

  • Pebblebee Card 5 (card format) and Clip 5 (clip tracker for keys, bags & more) are AirTag alternatives.
  • Work with both Apple “Where is?” and Google Find My Device.
  • Both trackers are rechargeable (USB-C) and offer long battery life.
  • Particularly thin or robust design, with LED lights and sound alarm.

Pebblebee Card 5 – ultra-thin tracker for wallets and pockets

Tracker cards such as the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card (Review | € 19.99 *), which we have already tested, are becoming increasingly popular. After all, losing your wallet is probably the most annoying thing that can happen to you in everyday life. The Pebblebee Card 5 is in the same vein. It is aimed at users who frequently misplace their wallet in everyday life – or simply need a tracker in credit card format.

With its extremely flat design, the Card 5 fits in every card compartment of a wallet without being bulky. Unlike many competing products, it does not rely on disposable button cells, but uses a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 12 months per charge, according to the manufacturer. The Card 5 can be recharged via USB-C – a clear advantage over the Apple AirTag (€ 89.00 * in a set of 4), which still relies on button cells.

The Card 5 also has LED position lighting and an integrated signal tone to make it easier to find in the home or office. Another highlight is its dual compatibility: the tracker can be paired with both Apple Find My and the new Android Find My Device network. This makes the Card 5 one of the few solutions that works across platforms without the user having to commit to one ecosystem.

When it comes to data protection, Pebblebee uses state-of-the-art encryption and prevents unwanted tracking. The device automatically detects other people’s movements and sends warnings to smartphone users if the tracker is being carried against their will – an important security feature that is now mandatory in many countries.

Pebblebee Clip 5 – robust companion for keys, bags and outdoor gear

While the Card 5 was primarily optimized for wallets, the Pebblebee Clip 5 serves as a versatile pendant for keys, rucksacks or suitcases. The robust housing is waterproof and resistant to shocks. Thanks to the integrated clip, the tracker can be quickly attached to a key ring or hooked onto bags – without additional accessories.

The Clip 5 is also rechargeable and, according to the manufacturer, lasts up to 12 months per charge. Like the Card 5, it supports Apple and Android tracking networks and has a loud audible signal tone as well as an LED signal light to help locate it. The Clip 5 is not only functional, but also sustainable – the housing is largely made from recycled materials.

Prices and availability

With the Pebblebee Card 5 and the Pebblebee Clip 5, users get two strong alternatives to the Apple AirTag that stand out with USB-C charging, dual ecosystem compatibility and LED/sound signals. Both trackers combine state-of-the-art tracking technology with a clear focus on sustainability and ease of use. The Pebblebee Card 5 is now available at a price of €36.64 and the Clip 5 is also available at a price of €36.64. Savings are possible if you buy a pack of 2 or even 3.
