Phanteks Eclipse P200A – flexible and compact ITX case

The new Phanteks Eclipse P200A features flexibility and a compact interior. The open interior provides ample space for high-end system components.

Highest cooling performance in a compact case

In the new Phanteks Eclipse P200A, maximum cooling performance is achieved through high airflow and the ultra-fine mesh grille. The interior of the ITX case offers enough space for standard ATX power supplies, GPUs with three slots with a maximum length of 355 mm, and numerous 240/280 cooler options can be placed at the front and rear. This makes building a compact as well as powerful ITX system a breeze. The Eclipse P200A comes with a volume of 30 liters and is extremely versatile in configuration.

Two variants of the P200A

The P200A comes in two variants, one being the P200A Performance and the other being the P200A D-RGB. The Phanteks Eclipse P200A Performance comes with two 120mm PWM fans and has a metal mesh side panel on the left. On the other hand, the Phanteks Eclipse P200A D-RGB has two 120mm D-RGB PWM fans, the side panel is tempered glass, and the D-RGB controller is software-free and the controls are easy to use. In addition, it has a USB-C Gen 2 port, this is not included in the performance variant.

The metal front of both variants is a full metal front panel with a fine mesh grille, which balances the high airflow performance and dust filtration with the ultra-fine perforation of just one millimeter. There is a direct bottom intake for optimal airflow to the GPU. The ITX case accommodates CPU coolers up to a maximum height of 165 mm. For modular installation, there is a GPU mount, so the GPU can be installed vertically or horizontally. Optionally, there is the necessary riser cable (PH-CBRS_FL15) for a vertical installation. A total of up to four 2.5-inch SSDs can be installed. With optional accessories, you can replace two SSD mounts with cages for four 3.5-inch HDDs.

The easily accessible front I/O features a USB-C Gen 2 (10 Gbit / s) port, two USB 3.0 ports, a microphone and headphone jack, power button, and LED mode button and LED color button. Microphone and the two USB 3.0 ports are also present in the performance variant. There are several cable management features to guide all cables. The P200A Performance comes to a weight of 5.3 kg with dimensions of 205 mm x 365 mm x 400 mm. In contrast, the P200A D-RGB’s weight is slightly higher at 5.5 kg.

Availability and prices

Phanteks’ new ITX cases are available in stores now with a five-year warranty. Here, the price for the Eclipse P200A is 49.90 euros and for the Eclipse P200A D-RGB 69.90 euros.
