With the two new Evolv models, Phanteks expands its Evolv series with two flexible and compact cases.
Form factor remains
As for the form, it is based on the actual Evolv Shift. With dimensions of 170 x 490 x 274 mm for the Shift 2 and 186 x 490 x 274 mm for the Shift 2 Air the cases do not need much space. The orientation of the two Evolv Shift is vertical. The Evolv Shift 2 (Air) already has a 140 mm fan on board at the rear. In addition, a further 140 mm fan can be mounted at the stern and in the lower part of the case. The cases can accommodate up to three 120/140 mm fans. A simple press on the upper plate provides easy and large access to the GPU and mainboard. Graphics cards up to a length of 335 mm and a width of 150 mm have room in the Evolv Shift 2, so even high-end users will have fun. On the memory side, the cases support two 2.5-inch SSDs and one 3.5-inch HDD. An additional bracket can be purchased to integrate two additional 2.5-inch SSDs at the location of the 3.5-inch HDD. The cases feature improved cable management with intelligent cable routing options to keep the interior space tidy. The ITX cases support SFX or SFX-L power supplies.
Strong design and easy access
The Evolv Shift 2 impresses with its tempered glass panels on the sides and makes a very elegant impression. While the Evolv Shift 2 brings air sides of mesh for direct airflow to the GPU, CPU and PSU. The mesh fabric is a breathable and durable nylon material. Also otherwise very high-quality materials are used. The front and rear panels are made of a 3 mm thick anodized aluminum plate.
All four covers can be easily removed during assembly to allow access to all components. The upper grid of the cases can be opened with a simple touch and offers a quick access to the mainboard and the GPU, even after assembly. The upper cover also optimally hides all external cables.
Air and light
The active inlet of air from below and the outlet to the rear significantly improve the airflow path of the Shift 2. Very fine mesh parts at the front provide a passive inlet and the upper parts provide the passive outlet. Features of the Shift 2 cases include a D-RGB controller to bring light into the game. This controller has already been pre-programmed and offers a large selection of different colors and light effects. A software for the light effects is not necessary. If desired, the RGB lighting can be further extended and synchronized with compatible mainboard software. Of course, other RGB-compatible products can be connected via the connectors to let everything shine in a synchronized light.

The Evolv Shift 2 and the Evolv Shift 2 Air are available immediately at a price of 99.90 Euro and 109.90 Euro respectively. You can choose between satin black and anthracite grey.
