The manufacturer has unveiled the Philips 16B1P3302D, a new portable monitor that expands its iF Product Design Award and Red Dot Award-winning product line.
The Philips 16B1P3302D in detail
Weighing in at just 1.03 kilograms, the Philips 16B1P3302D measures 359 x 232 x 119 mm, including the stand. Thus, it should easily fit into a briefcase or a backpack.
The monitor has a 15.6-inch (39.6 cm) IPS panel, which resolves in Full HD with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 75 hertz. The response time is 4 milliseconds for the gray-to-grey change, while the brightness (250 cd/m²) and contrast ratio (700:1) are somewhat below average.
The color space coverage is also rather in the average range with 64 percent sRGB, but there is an eye-friendly LowBlue mode for that.

Connection via USB-C
The real special feature, however, are the two USB-C interfaces – making the monitor multifunctional: these ports have several functions, including: Powering the device (USB Power Delivery) as well as mirroring or extending the screen (USB-C DisplayPort Alt mode).
However, an alternative image reproduction is not offered. Only a 3.5 mm audio input and output is still available. USB Power Delivery realizes up to 90 watts at the input and up to 65 watts at the output.
The Philips 16B1P3302D can also make the mobile workplace ergonomic and comfortable, as its stand can be tilted from 0 to 90 degrees, while the monitor’s 170°/170° viewing angle allows for a clear view from almost any angle thanks to IPS panel technology.
