Another new monitor from Philips Evnia. The Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 is a 42-inch gaming monitor that combines a 4k UHD resolution with a refresh rate of 138 hertz and also has a lot to offer.

Under the Evnia brand launched at the end of October 2022, Philips wants to offer high-quality monitors and peripherals. The Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 follows, after the Evnia 27M2C5500W in January and the 34-incher.

The Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 comes from the 8000 series and thus the top-level category of the young brand. It comes with excellent features for gaming experiences at the highest level. These include a True 10-bit display for smoother color gradients, an OLED panel for intense colors and high contrasts, and a refresh rate of 138 hertz.

With a gray-to-grey response time of 0.1 milliseconds and an UltraClear 4K UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), the monitor aims to provide an excellent gaming experience on a 105.5-centimeter or even 42-inch screen.

The monitor also offers integrated speakers with DTS sound, a KVM switch for cross-device use of peripherals, a USB-C port and a height-adjustable ergonomic stand. On top of that, the manufacturer’s well-known Ambiglow backlighting is offered.
