Philips Evnia: Manufacturer launches new gaming brand with monitors and peripherals

Display specialist MMD launches a new gaming brand with Philips Evnia. Among other things, the Philips Evnia 34M2C7600MV curved gaming monitor will be released under the label, which we have already introduced. It will initially be followed by three more displays in 2023, as well as some peripherals like keyboards, mice, a mouse pad and two headsets.

Philips Evnia launches as friendly gaming brand

“Evnia aims to become the friendliest gaming brand,” states the brand homepage, which will launch in early 2023. The 34-inch Curved Gaming Monitor 34M2C7600MV, which we’ve already introduced you to, marks the first model from Evnia.

This is a 34-inch UQWHD monitor that resolves in 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and brings a refresh rate of 165 hertz. Thanks to mini-LED backlighting, it comes with an impressive brightness of 1,400 nits in 1,152 zones.

In terms of design, however, Philips Evnia wants to stand out from the usual standards and relies on a fresh look complete with a sustainable monitor base. Another special feature of the monitors is the Ambiglow technology.

Light elements on the back of the monitors expand the image on the display by synchronizing the colors and beaming them to the walls behind. The fast processor analyzes the image content and continuously adjusts the color and brightness of the emitted light to the image content.

Three monitors and peripherals launch in 2023

Complementing the Philips Evnia 34M2C7600MV for release in December 2022 will be three more monitors from the brand, to follow in mid-January 2023. The 42M2N8900 relies on a 42-inch flat OLED panel.

The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 comes with a 34-inch QD OLED curved display, and the 27M2C5500W marks the entry-level model with a 27-inch VA panel. However, concrete details or specifications for the monitors are unfortunately not yet available.

You’ll probably have to wait until mid-June 2023 for the peripherals. Here you can expect two gaming keyboards with the Philips Evnia SPK8508 and SPK8708, two gaming mice (SPK9508 and SPK9708), a mouse pad (SPL7508) and two gaming headsets with the names Philips Evnia TAG5208 and TAG7208. Unfortunately, any details are currently missing here as well.
