PNY will be showcasing its latest portfolio for gaming and content creation at Gamescom 2026, taking place August 26–30 in Cologne. At its booth in Hall 10.1 (Booth A-024), the manufacturer will showcase the new slim models of the GeForce RTX 50 series, DDR4 and DDR5 memory, microSD Express cards for the Nintendo Switch 2, and a previously unannounced SSD for upcoming console generations.

PNY at Gamescom 2026: Dates, Location, and Program

The booth is aimed at both consumers and industry professionals and is located in Hall 10.1, Booth A-024. In addition to the product showcase, visitors can try out several gaming PCs live before continuing their tour of the Koelnmesse.

New Hardware for Gaming and Content Creation

Four product lines form the core of the exhibition: graphics cards, SSDs, RAM, and microSD cards. With this lineup, PNY positions itself as a one-stop shop for gaming PCs and console accessories.

GeForce RTX 50 Slim: Compact Graphics Cards with AI Features

The Slim models of the GeForce RTX 50 series are tailored for smaller cases without compromising on cooling. All three variants feature a dual-slot design with a vapor chamber and aluminum backplate, controlled via PNY’s VelocityX software. PNY has published details on the dimensions and clock speeds in a separate press release.

Model Memory Dimensions Boost Clock (OC)
RTX 5080 16GB Slim 16 GB GDDR7, 256-bit 300 x 150 x 40 mm 2,730 MHz
RTX 5070 Ti 16GB Slim 16 GB GDDR7, 256-bit 290 x 150 x 40 mm 2,572 MHz
RTX 5070 12GB Slim 12 GB GDDR7, 192-bit 290 x 128 x 40 mm 2,587 MHz

All three cards use PCIe 5.0 and feature three DisplayPort and one HDMI output. According to PNY, Nvidia’s built-in AI technologies are designed to deliver smoother gameplay, higher image quality, and faster response times—primarily thanks to DLSS and the RTX 50 series’ associated frame generation features.

The Secret SSD: Storage for the Next Generation of Consoles

At its booth, PNY is exclusively showcasing a new SSD for which the manufacturer has not yet released any technical specifications. All that is known so far is that it is designed to meet the requirements of upcoming console games. It complements the existing SSD portfolio, which includes internal M.2 models with PCIe Gen3, Gen4, and Gen5, as well as the portable RP60 SSD for on-the-go use.

microSD Express for the Nintendo Switch 2

For Switch 2 owners, PNY has its microSD Express cards in store. The cards use a PCIe Gen 3×1 interface and, according to the manufacturer, are capable of read speeds of up to 890 MB/s and write speeds of up to 750 MB/s—which, according to Tom’s Hardware, is about 4.4 times faster than a standard UHS-I card. PNY currently offers the series in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 1 TB capacities.

Capacity Read Speed Write Speed Classification
128 GB up to 890 MB/s up to 750 MB/s Class 10, U3, V30, A1
256 GB up to 890 MB/s up to 750 MB/s Class 10, U3, V30, A1
1 TB up to 890 MB/s up to 750 MB/s Class 10, U3, V30, A1

According to PNY, the cards are also magnetic-, shock-, temperature-, and water-resistant and come with a lifetime warranty. For avid gamers with large digital libraries, the 1-TB model should be particularly appealing, as it offers enough space for several large Switch 2 titles, including updates.

Live Demos, Modded PC, and Giveaway at the Booth

In addition to the product showcase, PNY is focusing on interaction. A high-end gaming PC with water cooling demonstrates what’s possible with the latest hardware, while a custom-built modding PC by renowned modder Czuga showcases the creative side of the PC scene. Together with its German partners Alternate and MIFCOM, PNY has also put together several gaming PCs ranging from entry-level systems to high-end configurations. Visitors can play Forza Horizon 6 on these systems and get a firsthand look at the image quality, responsiveness, and performance.

In addition, PNY is giving away a complete gaming PC at its booth. The manufacturer is expected to announce details on how to enter at the booth.

Conclusion: What PNY Is Showcasing at Gamescom 2026

With the RTX 50 Slim graphics cards, the microSD Express cards for the Switch 2, and the yet-to-be-announced console SSD, PNY is covering several current trends at Gamescom 2026: compact high-end hardware, growing storage demands driven by the new Nintendo console, and the next generation of console SSDs. The exact technical specifications of the secret SSD will likely only be revealed during the trade show in Cologne. We’ll keep an eye out and update this article as soon as PNY shares more details.
