After PowerA introduced the FUSION Pro 3, a wired pro controller, last month, it now follows up with the PowerA MOGA XP, a wireless gamepad licensed for Xbox Series X/S, mobile and cloud gaming.
PowerA MOGA XP unveiled
The PowerA MOGA XP multi-platform wireless controller is officially licensed for Xbox Series X/S and also works with mobile games, on PC, and with cloud gaming, for example via Xbox Game Pass.
The design and stick layout are reminiscent of the official Microsoft gamepads for the Xbox consoles. In addition, the controller comes with a modular 4-in-1 design that includes a compact mini-pad with tactile buttons, a concave digi-pad, impulse triggers and more.
Also offered is a removable ergonomic handle that improves handling while adding a vibration function. It also gives the controller two additional programmable buttons on the back. Also included is a mobile gaming clip that allows smartphones to be easily attached to the top of the controller.
Up to 60 hours of battery life
The PowerA MOGA XP comes with a 2,000 mAh battery that is said to provide up to 60 hours of runtime in Xbox Wireless Protocol and up to 40 hours via Bluetooth. Charging is done via USB Type-C.
All in all, the gamepad can be used in four different ways. For example, as a mini-pad without handles, as a full controller, as a mini-pad with smartphone holder or as a full controller with holder.
