QNAP TS-364: New 3-bay RAID 5 2.5GbE NAS released

QNAP Systems today released the 3-bay RAID 5 2.5GbE TS-364 NAS with M.2 PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD slots and 2.5GbE connectivity, offering optimized performance in home/office environments. With support for lightweight virtualization/containers and HDMI output, the TS-364 provides a centralized storage, backup, file sharing, and multimedia solution that delivers increased productivity and limitless entertainment with rich NAS applications.

QNAP TS-364 in detail

The new QNAP TS-364 NAS guarantees to build a secure RAID-5 array with three hard drives for optimized storage capacity, cache performance, and protection against hard drive failure. It is equipped with Intel Celeron N5105/ N5095 quad-core 4-thread processor (Turbo up to 2.9 GHz) with Intel AES-NI encryption engine and 4 GB DDR4 memory.

It also supports cache acceleration or Qtier for enhanced performance or Edge TPU for AI image recognition with M.2 PCIe Gen3 slots. In addition, the NAS has a 2.5GbE port for next-generation networking support, as well as one USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) ports for faster data transfer to mobile devices. The storage capacity of the NAS can be expanded by connecting TL and TR storage expansion enclosures.

Equipped with the latest QTS 5.0 operating system, the TS-364 offers comprehensive NAS home/business applications: QNAP File Station streamlines NAS file access, sharing, and management via a web browser.

Hybrid Backup Sync enables easy backup of NAS files to the cloud or to another NAS to meet the 3-2-1 backup strategy. Virtualization Station and Container Station enable lightweight virtualization applications.
