Razer announces new Chroma accessories

Razer has made an extensive announcement. The popular manufacturer of gaming peripherals wants to launch several new products. In addition to an addressable RGB controller, there will also be matching Chroma RGB accessories. Especially practical: Thanks to the compatibility with Razer Synapse 3, the new devices should be easy to integrate into the smart home.

Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller

The company with the three-headed snake first of all introduced a new ARGB controller as the basis for its new Chroma accessories. The Razer Chroma ARGB controller is a convenient way to control RGB peripherals that are compatible with Razer’s Chroma system. In addition, Synapse 3 also allows you to synchronize devices from other manufacturers. No additional software is then required. The Chroma ARGB controller comes with handy SSD mounting pucks. This makes it compatible with almost every setup.

Furthermore, the controller has a total of six ARGB ports. Modder will be especially happy about this. Finally, there is the possibility to connect ARGB elements directly to the controller. While working, Razer’s Chrome ARGB controller can control each LED individually. In combination with Synapse 3 you can then adjust the lighting of the ARGB components individually. It’s not just the simple control that Razer wants to convince here. The manufacturer also scores with the advertised support of components from many well-known manufacturers. Begun with Enermax, over Phanteks up to LianLi the US-American enterprise attached many partnerships here. The positive picture is rounded off with the support of chroma-capable games and the possibility to integrate the controller into the smart home. On paper, it all sounds very exciting.

Razer Base Station V2 Chroma

Although the ARGB controller is also supposed to support many other products, many will probably use Razer’s own products. The headset stand “Base Station V2 Chroma” is the first one. Unlike its predecessor, the design of the second version is much more unagitated. But it seems to score points not only visually but also functionally. The heart of the stand is a vertical aluminum strut with a non-slip underside. It is equipped with Razer Chrome RGB. Since the Base Station in the second version takes up very little space, it should fit into almost any PC setup. Two USB 3.1 ports and a 3.5 mm combo jack are available on the connection side. The latter offers support for 7.1 surround sound thanks to the built-in DAC.

Razer Charging Pad Chroma

Next is the Charging Pad Chroma. This is not only colorful thanks to RGB lighting, but is also supposed to be extremely fast. In total it offers a power of 10 watts. This makes it ideal for charging your smartphone or other Qi-capable device while you are playing. The rubberized surface of the Charging Pad is designed to prevent annoying scratches.

Razer Mouse Bungee V3 Chroma

If you have problems with the cable management of your mouse, you should take a closer look at the upcoming Mouse Bungee V3 from Razer. According to Razer, this one is not only functional, but also looks pretty cool on the first pictures. Here the manufacturer relies on a modern aluminum design. In combination with the colorful lighting this should be the perfect companion for any wired mouse.

Razer Mouse Dock Chroma

Razer has earned its reputation among peripheral manufacturers for gamers primarily because of its popular mice. So it’s not surprising that it has introduced a second gaming mouse accessory, the Mouse Dock Chroma. The halter design is not only visually convincing, but also seems to be an advantage in practice thanks to a built-in magnet. This is supposed to make it easy to insert and remove the mouse. This is where the Razer Viper Ultimate, Razer Basilisk Ultimate, Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro and Razer Naga Pro will fit.
