Razer’s Blade series gaming notebooks are known for their speed. Last year, the pro model of the 15-incher and the 14-inch notebook scored in our test. With the new Razer Blade 15 OLED, an OLED panel finally makes its way into the manufacturer’s lineup, and it will be a full 240 Hz fast.
Razer Blade 15 OLED in detail
Notebooks with OLED panels are far from common today, but there are models from manufacturers like Asus from the Zenbook series or Lenovo. However, a gaming notebook with OLED is new.
The Razer Blade 15 OLED will be available, albeit not until the fourth quarter of 2022. As the name suggests, the notebook uses a 15.6-inch display with a QHD OLED panel that is supposed to realize a refresh rate of 240 Hz. It has a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² and covers the DCI-P3 color space completely.
The components inside also promise a lot. Razer wants to equip the OLED Blade with an Intel Core i9-12900H, a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD.
In terms of ports, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4, USB-A and USB Type-C are available, as well as a microSD card reader and presumably a 3.5 mm jack. Otherwise, there is no further information about the Razer Blade 15 OLED so far. The OLED model will be available in the US for an MSRP of $3,499.99. That is the equivalent of about 3,319 Euros.
