Razer, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International, has unveiled a new special edition: The Razer | Espeon & Umbreon Collection, launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, features four peripheral products designed after two popular Eevee evolutions. The collection is now available in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand—both individually and as a complete set.
Design Between Light and Darkness
The collection’s aesthetic thrives on the deliberate contrast between the two Pokémon: Espeon’s light, violet color scheme meets Umbreon’s dark navy blue with its distinctive golden rings. Razer aptly describes the concept as “Where Light and Dark Play.” Both Pokémon aren’t just featured on a single product each, but serve as a recurring motif throughout the entire collection—including an atmospheric starry sky and moon pattern that adorns every single product and creates a cohesive look on your desk.
This collection joins Razer’s growing lineup of Pokémon special editions, which most recently included the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 Gengar Edition and the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro. However, while those editions focused on individual Pokémon, the Espeon & Umbreon Collection is Razer’s most extensive Pokémon collaboration to date, as it spans four product categories: headset, keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad.
The products at a glance
Razer Kraken V4 X – Espeon & Umbreon Edition
This wired gaming headset is essentially the centerpiece of the collection. It features soft, velvety ear cushions, Razer Chroma RGB lighting on the ear cups, and a sound profile designed for clear voice and game audio. Espeon and Umbreon are prominently displayed on the right ear cup in the collection’s signature starry sky design.
Razer Ornata V3 Tenkeyless – Espeon & Umbreon Edition
The slim, tenkeyless keyboard omits the numeric keypad, saving space on your desk. It uses Razer’s Mecha-Membrane switches, which combine the tactile feedback of mechanical switches with the quieter keystroke characteristics of membrane keys. A magnetic wrist rest featuring large-scale Espeon and Umbreon artwork rounds out the overall look.
Razer Cobra – Espeon & Umbreon Edition
For the mouse, Razer has opted for the lightweight, wired Cobra, featuring durable optical switches and RGB underside lighting that creates the eponymous “cosmic glow” in the dark. On the sides, Espeon and Umbreon are depicted facing each other, while the rest of the body is adorned with the collection’s star pattern.
Razer Gigantus V2 (Medium) – Espeon & Umbreon Edition
The medium-sized mouse pad rounds out the set. It features a textured microfiber fabric surface for consistent mouse tracking, whether you’re making wide swipes or small, precise adjustments. The large-scale artwork features Espeon and Umbreon prominently in the center of the mat, surrounded by the collection’s starry sky motif.
