Shortly after the Realme C33, the manufacturer has introduced another smartphone. The Realme 10 is also coming to Germany as a mid-range device and comes up with some improvements compared to its predecessor.
Realme 10 in detail
The 9 model is followed by the Realme 10, before the manufacturer will present the Pro models these days. As we already know, the 10 is also coming to Germany and is located in the mid-range.
The manufacturer relies on a Helio G99 chip that has a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU, but does not support 5G. In return, the CPU is supposed to work about 25 percent faster and 20 percent more energy-efficient than that of the predecessor in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680.
In addition, there are 8 GB of working memory and 256 UFS 2.2 system memory, and the smartphone can borrow up to 8 GB of virtual RAM from the system memory to boost performance. Storage expansion via microSD card is also possible.
6.4-inch AMOLED display
Furthermore, they install a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display in the Realme 10, which resolves in Full HD+ with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and has a refresh rate of 90 hertz. It also gets up to 1,000 nits, is comparatively bright and offers a touch rate of 360 Hz.
The display is interrupted by a selfie camera that is housed in a punch hole in the upper left corner. It offers a resolution of 16 megapixels. On the back, the Realme 10 relies on a 50-megapixel main camera with the JN1 sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Unfortunately, the ultra-wide-angle camera of the predecessor has been reduced.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and can be charged quickly with a maximum of 33 watts. It is supposed to charge from 0 to 50 percent in 28 minutes, after which charging is a bit slower.
Price and availability
When and at which prices the Realme 10 will be offered in Europe is currently still unclear. Apparently, the smartphone will also be available in Germany immediately, but it is not offered or listed on the manufacturer’s homepage.
However, the prices for the US market are fixed. The variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage starts at an MSRP of 249.00 US dollars. The smartphone with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of system storage is priced at $299.00. The prices are likely to be converted one-to-one into Euros.
