Realme has officially confirmed that a new camera flagship will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in early March 2025. This smartphone is characterized by a striking design reminiscent of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and promises advanced camera technologies for demanding users.
Highlights
- Design reminiscent of Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Round camera module and two-tone back.
- Main camera with large sensor: Larger than current flagship models.
- Telephoto camera with tenfold zoom: Improved image quality at high magnifications.
Design and camera equipment
Realme apparently wants to delight us with a new flagship smartphone soon. And this may well look familiar to market experts. The first teaser images show a smartphone with a predominantly black back, interspersed with a silver stripe.
The eye-catching, round camera module is strongly reminiscent of the design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra (Review | € 1,101.43 *), it offers impressive camera performance. Realme obviously wants to keep up with this with its upcoming newcomer.

Particularly noteworthy is the large sensor of the main camera, which, according to Realme, is larger than the sensors of current flagship models such as the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max (€ 1,282.00 *) or the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (€ 1,529.00 *).
This could indicate a sensor size of more than 1/1.28 inch, which promises improved light capture and image quality. In addition to the main camera, the new Realme smartphone will be equipped with a telephoto camera that enables a tenfold zoom.
Realme emphasizes that the image quality at this magnification should be better than that of competing models. However, it remains to be seen whether this zoom will be realized by optical periscope technology or by digital or “AI”-supported processes.
