Realme GT Neo 3 and Neo 3T: Info, prices and release in Germany

In March, manufacturer Realme presented its new smartphone with a charging speed of 150 watts. However, the Realme GT Neo 3 was only presented for the Chinese market at the time. Now the company has presented details about the launch in Germany and the final design. The Realme GT Neo 3T is also a slimmed-down sibling. We have summarized all the info.

Realme GT Neo 3: Features and info

We actually already know just about everything about the Realme GT Neo 3 since the first presentation. Here, the manufacturer relies on a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,412 x 1,080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 1,000 Hz sampling rate.

The screen-to-body ration is an impressive 94.2 percent, while the display fully covers the DCI-P3 color space and also supports HDR10+. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core SoC, which consists of four cores with a clock rate of 2.85 GHz and four 2.0 GHz cores, works inside the 188 gram light smartphone. It is supported by 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, depending on the features, as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 system storage.

The GT Neo 3 supports Wi-Fi 6 and even Bluetooth 5.3 already. In terms of BT audio codecs, the smartphone copes with SBC, AAC, APTX, APTX-HD, LDAC and LHDC.

GT Neo 3 charges with 150 watts

A special feature of the Realme GT Neo 3 is its charging speed. Thanks to UltraDart Charging Architecture (UDCA), the 4,500 mAh battery is charged quickly with up to 150 watts and should thus be fully charged in just 15 minutes on the mains.

Alternatively, the smartphone is also available with 80 watts SuperVOOC charging speed at a lower price. Here, the battery capacity is also slightly higher at 5,000 mAh. In this model, the manufacturer according to the website promises a charge from 0 to 50 percent in 12 minutes.

50-MP triple camera

In terms of cameras, the Realme GT Neo 3 relies on a triple-cam setup at the back. It relies on a 50 MP main camera (aperture: f/1.88), which uses the Sony IMX766 sensor. The camera also offers optical image stabilization (OIS).

It is supported by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.25) with a 119 degree viewing angle and a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4). At the front, Realme installs a 16-megapixel selfie camera (including Samsung S5K3P9 sensor, f/2.45) in a central punch hole.

Realme GT Neo 3T: All the info on its little brother

With the Realme GT Neo 3T, you can also expect a somewhat slimmed-down model of the Neo 3, which still comes with some unique advantages in the mid-range, however, and is offered at a significantly lower price.

The manufacturer installs a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), 120 Hz frame rate and an impressive peak brightness of 1300 nits in the 3T. There are also differences in terms of the chip because the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 is used here. It also relies on eight cores, which are installed in three variants: There is one core with a clock rate of 3.2 GHz, two 2.4 GHz cores and four 1.8 GHz cores.

In addition, there is 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Neo 3T is charged via 80W SuperDart Charge using USB Type-C. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh.

64MP triple camera of the Neo 3T

The Realme GT Neo 3T also differs from the Neo 3 in terms of the camera. The main camera has a higher resolution of 64 megapixels and is also faster with an aperture of f/1.79. The other two cameras, however, an ultra-wide-angle camera with 5 megapixels (f/2.25, 119-degree field of view) and the 3 MP macro lens, are at a disadvantage compared with the Neo 3.

The selfie camera also does not have as sharp a resolution with 5 megapixels and finds its place in a punch hole in the upper left corner in this model.

Realme GT Neo 3T Dragon Ball Z Edition is coming to Germany

The beautiful Naruto Edition of the GT Neo 3, which we recently introduced to you, unfortunately won’t make it to Germany or Europe. Instead, we get another anime variant of the 3T in the form of the Realme GT Neo 3T Dragon Ball Z Edition.

It comes up with an exclusive design in the look of the cult anime, its own wallpapers and icons, as well as an exclusive loading animation. Otherwise, the technical specifications are the same as those of the normal GT Neo 3T, with the exception of the system memory, which is twice as large at 256 GB as in the case of the standard variant.

Realme GT Neo 3 and Neo 3T: Prices and availability

The two smartphones Realme GT Neo 3 and Realme Neo 3T will be available in stores from 09 June 2022. Currently, they are only sold in the manufacturer’s in-house store, but should also find their way into retail stores in the course of the day. In addition, the smartphones will launch with various discount promotions or free additions:

• The realme GT Neo 3 with 80-watt charging speed (8 GB RAM, 256 GB ROM) has an MSRP of 599.99 euros. However, until June 09 at midnight, you can secure the smartphone for just 549.99 euros.
• The realme GT Neo 3 with 150-watt charging speed (12 GB RAM, 256 GB ROM) has an MSRP of 699.99 euros.
• For an MSRP of 399.99 euros, you can secure the realme GT Neo 3T (8 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM) today only. From June 10, the smartphone will be offered at the normal price, which is 429.99 euros
• The realme GT Neo 3T Dragon Ball Z Edition, on the other hand, is priced at 499.99 euros, but comes with 256 GB of system memory and the unique design.
