Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version is at the heart of the new REDMAGIC 11S Pro Series. The specially optimized high-end chip achieves clock speeds of up to 4.74 GHz and should be able to display even demanding AAA mobile games stably with high frame rates. The processor is supported by the in-house RedCore R4 gaming chip, which performs tasks such as touch optimization, frame interpolation and AI-based performance control.
The setup is complemented by the new Energy CUBE 3.0 technology. This is an intelligent resource management system that dynamically adjusts performance, energy consumption and temperature. According to REDMAGIC, this should ensure consistently high performance even under continuous load. In addition, the 11S Pro series supports super-resolution rendering and frame interpolation for more than 200 games, which should ensure smoother movements and sharper displays.
REDMAGIC is also breaking new ground with the cooling system. The so-called AquaCore Cooling System combines an active TurboFan with up to 24,000 revolutions per minute, large-area vapor-chamber cooling and Composite Liquid Metal 3.0. The devices continue to rely on transparent design elements, visible cooling structures and customizable RGB lighting. The 6.85-inch BOE-X10 AMOLED display achieves a refresh rate of 144 Hz and has a resolution of 2688 × 1216 pixels. The completely borderless display without a visible front camera is particularly noteworthy. This is made possible by an advanced under-display camera with 16 megapixels.
The display achieves a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3 percent and relies on extremely narrow screen edges of just 1.25 millimeters. This creates an almost uninterrupted gaming and multimedia experience. REDMAGIC has also installed a new touch system with a touch sampling rate of up to 3,000 Hz for fast input. The integrated shoulder buttons work with their own control unit and support a sampling rate of up to 520 Hz, which should be particularly advantageous for competitive shooters.
The two models differ significantly when it comes to the battery. The REDMAGIC 11S Pro has an 8,000 mAh battery with 80 watt fast charging, while the REDMAGIC 11S Pro+ relies on 7,500 mAh, but can be charged with 120 watts wired and up to 80 watts wirelessly. The features are complemented by Wi-Fi 7, NFC, infrared, DTS:X Ultra sound and a classic 3.5 mm headphone jack.
