There was a hint recently, but now it’s official: with the new RingConn Gen 3, the manufacturer is launching the next generation of its smart ring on the market and significantly expanding the focus towards health analysis. In addition to familiar functions such as sleep tracking, heart rate measurement and activity recording, the new model focuses primarily on analyzing vascular health trends. The sales launch is planned for May 29, 2026, and pre-orders are already possible. RingConn is also offering a limited-time discount on all variants for the launch.

  • New analysis of vascular health trends through combined sensor and blood pressure data
  • Up to 14 days of battery life with a weight of only 2.5 to 3.5 grams
  • Health functions for sleep, stress, heart rate, SpO₂ and cycle monitoring
  • Pre-sale started with a 10 percent discount until June 10, 2026

RingConn Gen 3 focuses on health data with long-term evaluation

RingConn Gen 3 expands the classic smart ring concept with a new function for monitoring vascular health. The system combines manually entered blood pressure values with continuously recorded sensor data from the ring. The aim is to make long-term changes in vascular stress visible and to be able to better classify trends in everyday life.

The evaluation takes place automatically in the background, especially during rest periods or at night. The system also takes into account other factors such as sleep quality, physical exertion, regeneration after sport and the general daily rhythm. This provides a more comprehensive picture of physical condition over longer periods of time.

For the technical implementation, RingConn uses VCSEL-based infrared sensor technology, which should provide stable measurement results even under different wearing conditions. According to the manufacturer, the measurement of the resting heart rate achieves an accuracy of at least 98.58 percent in internal tests. The blood oxygen measurement has a maximum average error of 0.95 percent. RingConn also promises precise results for step counting and temperature measurement.

In addition to the new analysis functions, the Smart Ring continues to be positioned as a comprehensive health companion. Among other things, it supports sleep tracking including possible indications of sleep apnoea, stress analysis, activity measurement and cycle monitoring functions.

More comfort, longer runtime and discreet notifications

The design of the RingConn Gen 3 has also been further optimized. Depending on the size and version, the smart ring weighs between 2.5 and 3.5 grams and should therefore be barely noticeable in everyday life. The model is available in ten sizes from 6 to 15, which should ensure the most precise fit possible.

The battery life is comparatively long at up to 11 to 14 days. This is still one of the biggest advantages of a smart ring over many smartwatches, especially in the field of compact wearables. This means that the device needs to be charged much less frequently.

The optional vibration notifications directly via the ring are also practical in everyday life. These can remind you of a lack of movement or a low battery level, for example, and work completely without acoustic signals. This means that notifications remain pleasantly unobtrusive, even in meetings or conversations. Which notifications should be active can be configured individually or deactivated completely.

Thanks to IP68 certification, the ring is also suitable for daily use when washing your hands, showering or swimming. Visually, RingConn has a slightly brushed surface and several color variants, making the smart ring look less like a classic technology product and more discreetly integrated into everyday life.

Conclusion

With the RingConn Gen 3, the manufacturer is expanding its smart ring portfolio with new health functions and is increasingly focusing on long-term analysis values instead of pure real-time data. The integration of vascular health trends in particular sets the model apart from many previous smart rings. It also has a long battery life, a lightweight design and extensive tracking functions for everyday use. Sales will start on May 29, 2026, with regular prices starting at 369 euros, while the brushed versions are available from 389 euros. Reduced introductory prices from 332 euros apply at the pre-sale start.
