Manufacturer Roborock adds a new model to its comprehensive portfolio of vacuuming and mopping robots. However, the S8 series around the S8 Pro Ultra (our review) does not get an addition. Instead, the Roborock S7 Max Ultra finds its way to Europe.
The Roborock S7 Max Ultra in detail
The new Roborock S7 Max Ultra vacuuming and mopping robot expands the manufacturer’s S7 lineup and comes to Europe shortly after its US launch. It comes up with the RoboDock Ultra, which empties the vacuum cleaner, washes and dries the mop and automatically replaces the water.
It also independently detects obstacles in its path and suggests suitable no-go zones using artificial intelligence. Zones can be specifically defined within the Roborock app, while cleaning schedules, an adjustment of the suction strength and much more can be set.
Vacuuming is done with a force of 5,500 Pascal, which puts it slightly below the S8 series. In return, the VibraRise function is included, which automatically lifts the mop when the Roborock hits carpet. Thus, the Roborock S7 Max Ultra should be equally suitable for hard floors and carpets. Cleaning is done with 3,000 vibrations per minute.
Unlike the S7 MavX Ultra, however, the new model lacks the ReactiveAI 2.0 camera. The battery offers a capacity of 5,200 mAh and is said to be sufficient for an area of up to 300 m² or up to 180 minutes around Silent mode. The dust tank holds 350 ml, while the water tank holds 200 ml.
Price and Availability
The Roborock S7 Max Ultra vacuuming and mopping robot should be available soon, but the manufacturer has not yet named a specific date. But the recommended retail price, which is 1,199 euros.
