Robot vacuum cleaner manufacturer Roborock is expanding its portfolio with the Roborock Saros 10 with water connection, which is now available in stores. This model promises reduced maintenance and a more compact station thanks to the fixed water installation.
Key new features of the Roborock Saros 10:
- Fixed water installation: no more manual filling or emptying of water tanks required.
- More compact station: By eliminating the water tanks, the station has a more space-saving design.
- Identical cleaning performance: The technical specifications correspond to the standard model.
Differences to the standard model
The main difference between the Saros 10 with water connection and the standard model lies in the type of water supply. While the standard model has integrated water tanks that have to be filled and emptied manually on a regular basis, the new version is connected directly to the domestic fresh water and waste water pipes.
This eliminates the need for manual water handling and significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required. Another advantage is the more compact design of the cleaning station, which is made possible by dispensing with the internal water tanks. However, this version requires an available fresh water and waste water connection near the installation site.
Technical features of both models
Both versions of the Roborock Saros 10 share the following technical features:
- Suction power: 22,000 Pa, suitable for thorough cleaning of hard floors and carpets.
- Mopping function: VibraRise 4.0 technology with 4,000 vibrations per minute for effective mopping.
- Navigation: Retractable laser tower with RetractSense navigation system for a height of just 7.98 cm when retracted, supplemented by Reactive AI 3.0 for intelligent obstacle detection.
- Cleaning station: RockDock Ultra 2.0 with functions such as hot water cleaning at 80 °C, automatic filling of the water tank and mop drying.
This equipment ensures high cleaning performance and user-friendliness in both models.
Price and availability
With the introduction of the Saros 10 with water connection, Roborock offers an innovative solution for households that value minimum maintenance and maximum efficiency. However, interested customers should ensure that the required water connections are available at the desired installation location. The Roborock Saros 10 with water connection is now available in black and white at an RRP of € 1,599.00. There is a 100 euro discount at the start. However, this also makes it €100 more expensive than the standard model of the Saros 10. If you don’t need a fixed water connection, you should definitely take a closer look at the ultra-flat Roborock Saros 10R (Review | € 1,349.99 *).
