In early April , ROCCAT introduces its new gaming mouse, and now it is finally available. The ROCCAT Burst Pro Air focuses on a symmetrical design, a low weight and works wirelessly. Special highlights are the 19,000 DPI Owl-Eye Optical Sensor and the fast and precise Titan Optical Switches.
ROCCAT Burst Pro Air now available
The ROCCAT Burst Pro Air combines the strengths of the original with wireless operation, which is where the name “Air” comes from. Designed with speed and responsiveness in mind, the Burst Pro Air is built for fast-paced, intense FPS gaming that demands precision and power.
A special highlight is the Titan Optical Switches, which are twice as fast with an actuation speed of 0.2 ms and significantly more durable than conventional mechanical switches. The built-in Owl Eye optical sensor (based on PixArt’s PAW3370) comes with up to 19,000 DPI and precise tracking. A total of six buttons are available, the two side buttons are placed on the left side of the case, which makes the mouse more exciting for right-handed users.
The symmetrical mouse’s Bionic Shell case is also water and dust resistant. Due to its honeycomb structure, the ROCCAT Burst Pro Air also weighs just 81 grams and features RGB lighting in four LED zones along with ROCCAT’s AIMO system.
Up to 100 hours of battery life
Wirelessly, the ROCCAT Burst Pro Air works either via Bluetooth 5.2 or with a 2.4 GHz connection including extra low latency. One battery charge should allow up to 100 hours of use. Charging is done via the USB-C PhantomFlex cable, which provides juice for five hours of use in just 10 minutes.
The Burst Pro Air features heat-treated pure PTFE mouse feet that can definitely make the difference in gaming. With the added heat treatment, the Burst Pro Air delivers incredible glide right out of the box and provides fluid mouse movement.
NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer is also supported. NVIDIA G-SYNC displays with Reflex feature the world’s first system latency analyzer, which detects clicks from gaming mice and measures the time it takes for the resulting pixels on the screen to change.
