ROCCAT Magma Mini: New 60 percent keyboard with RGB lighting

ROCCAT reissues the Magma keyboard from 2021. The new ROCCAT Magma Mini relies on a compact 60 percent layout and comes with RGB lighting.

The new ROCCAT Magma Mini relies on the advantages of its bigger sibling, offering more space for mouse movements in a 60 percent layout. The Magma Mini’s fully illuminated top panel has five programmable zones that show off ROCCAT’s AIMO RGB lighting. It also features membrane switches with a center trigger point, advanced key functionality with ROCCAT’s EasyShift[+] technology.

The keyboard is IP33 rated against water and dust and comes in a dark look along with a translucent top plate. The Magma Mini features quiet and responsive membrane keys with a fast, mid-range release point for an exceptionally comfortable keystroke. Advanced anti-ghosting technology ensures that all keys register, even if you press 20 keys at once.

Customizable RGB Lighting

The ROCCAT Magma Mini’s customizable RGB lighting shines through the transparent top plate in five lighting zones and ten LED backlights, and syncs with other peripherals from the manufacturer in the AIMO ecosystem.

The Magma Mini’s USB-A power cable plugs into the left side of the keyboard, which should be advantageous if you use your keyboard at an angle. The keyboard measures 308 x 132.2 x 36.6 mm and weighs a mere 405.6 grams (without cable). The polling rate is 1,000 hertz, while the keyboard can be customized via the manufacturer’s Swarm software.
