With its official market launch in Germany, Rokid is now also bringing its smart glasses to the European market. The company, which specializes in augmented reality and AI-supported wearables like the Max 2 (our review), is launching two key models: the Rokid Glasses with AR display and the Rokid Ai Glasses NEO as a voice-controlled version without a display. The aim is to integrate artificial intelligence directly into everyday life and professional work processes.
Following its appearance at the Hannover Messe and a launch event in Munich, Rokid is positioning itself specifically in the German market for smart wearables. The focus is particularly on productivity, real-time communication and hands-free access to information.

- AR display, real-time translation and multi-LLM AI assistant for productive work
- Support for GPT, Gemini and voice interaction in up to 12 languages
- Prices start from 449 euros, special offers available at market launch until the end of May
Rokid Smart Glasses focus on AR, AI and productive wearable computing
With the Rokid Glasses, the company is launching smart glasses on the market that go far beyond classic AR applications. The model has an AR display for both eyes and combines this with real-time translation, transcription and a multi-LLM AI assistant. Platforms such as GPT and Gemini are supported, giving users flexible access to different AI systems.
The aim is to provide hands-free access to information in everyday working life. Real-time translations facilitate international communication, while voice control and AI support can speed up work processes. This creates practical added value, especially in meetings, on business trips or in the field.
The glasses are technically based on the Qualcomm AR1 platform and weigh just 49 grams. The low weight is crucial, as smart glasses are only suitable for everyday use if they can be worn comfortably for long periods of time. The combination of performance and lightweight design makes the model particularly interesting for professional users who want to increase productivity without additional devices.
Rokid is thus clearly following the trend towards wearable computing, in which classic smartphone functions are increasingly being transferred directly to wearable devices.
Rokid Ai Glasses NEO are aimed at everyday life, travel and voice control
In addition to the premium model with display, Rokid is launching a second version on the market, the Ai Glasses NEO, which is deliberately designed to be simpler and more suitable for everyday use. These smart glasses do not have a visible display and rely entirely on voice control and AI interaction.
The NEO version supports voice interaction in 12 languages and translations in 89 languages. This makes it particularly suitable for traveling, spontaneous communication abroad or everyday tasks where information is needed quickly. Rokid is also positioning the model as a practical digital companion for content creation or simple assistance functions in everyday life.
Both devices are based on the so-called Open AI Ecosystem from Rokid. According to the company, this is the world’s first platform for smart glasses that supports several major language models without being tied to a single ecosystem. This gives users more flexibility and means they are not limited to just one provider.
This open approach is particularly relevant as the market for AI systems is currently developing very dynamically. Instead of closed platforms, Rokid deliberately focuses on interoperability and long-term expandability. This could prove to be an important competitive advantage, especially in the rapidly growing field of smart glasses.
Prices and availability of Rokid smart glasses in Germany
The Rokid Glasses with AR display start at a regular price of 699 euros. The Rokid Ai Glasses NEO including capsule battery pack are available for 449 euros. Both models are available via the official online store and Amazon.
For the market launch, Rokid is offering special prices for a limited time. From May 4 to 12, the Rokid Glasses are already available for 569 euros, including a free Rokid Power Capsule. From May 13 to 31, the price rises to 589 euros including the magnetic charging cable. From June 1, the regular price of 699 euros will apply again.
With the German launch, Rokid is positioning itself in a rapidly growing market for AI wearables. The combination of AR, real-time translation, open AI ecosystem and lightweight design makes the smart glasses an exciting alternative for anyone looking for the next step after the smartphone.
