Samsung Galaxy Book Go – flexible notebook for every day

Samsung has introduced a new notebook in its Galaxy Book series, the Book Go, to give users even more choice. It is particularly suitable as a daily companion and is also attractively priced.

Powerful companion

The new Samsung Galaxy Book Go is powered by a second-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor, which is also said to offer stable LTE connectivity. The Book Go is supported by 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB storage. The Galaxy Book Go is of course integrated into Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem, so it can also work with other Galaxy products, such as a smartphone or tablet. Overall, the new notebook combines the performance of a modern PC with mobility.

In terms of the operating system, Samsung relies on Windows 10 for the new Galaxy Book Go to be ready for use quickly. With the CPU’s “Alwalys On, Always Connected” philosophy comes a positive impact on a wide variety of everyday situations, whether checking emails or scrolling through social media, the Book Go is geared for everyday use.

Very versatile, rugged and lightweight

The Galaxy Book Go features a 14-inch screen with a narrow bezel, which resolves in 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. For this purpose, a 180-degree hinge has been installed in the notebook, so it can also be placed completely flat on the desk to better display content here. Overall, the Book Go is light, compact and robust, so that it can always be taken along on the go. It measures 224.8 x 323.9 x 14.9 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 1.39 kg. Dolby Atmos ensures an optimal sound, as well as long battery runtimes and LTE connectivity. On the connectivity side, the notebook offers a USB-A (2.0), a USB-C (3.2 Gen1), a USB-C (2.0), a microSD slot, a SIM card slot, a 3.5 mm jack, and a Kensington slot.

Samsung Galaxy ecosystem

The Samsung Galaxy ecosystem makes it easy to collaborate with other devices, and synchronization between smartphone and notebook is done in a snap. Messages and calls can also be answered via the notebook. The screen of the tablet or smartphone can also be mirrored on the notebook. With the Second Screen function, the screen can be extended to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, even if Galaxy Buda models are still connected via Bluetooth at the same time. The Smart Switch for Galaxy Book function makes setting up the notebook a quick task. With this feature, photos, apps, files and other settings can be transferred directly to the Galaxy Book Go.

Availability and pricing

The new Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be available from the manufacturer’s online store on June 10, 2021. In terms of price, the notebook is priced at 449 Euros.
