Samsung is presenting the new Galaxy Book6 series at CES 2026, setting a clear course in the notebook market. With the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6, the manufacturer is expanding its portfolio with powerful devices that combine modern hardware, intelligent AI functions and a particularly slim design. The new generation is aimed at users who expect high performance, long battery life and productive workflows in a mobile format – without compromising on quality and features.

- Slimmer, lighter design with high-quality displays
- Close integration with Galaxy AI and the Samsung ecosystem
Samsung Galaxy Book6 impresses with modern hardware and strong performance
At the heart of the new series is a significant increase in performance. The Samsung Galaxy Book6 uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors based on Intel 18A manufacturing for the first time. These new client SoCs combine powerful performance and efficiency cores and, according to Samsung, achieve over 60 percent higher CPU performance compared to previous generations. This is complemented by an integrated NPU with up to 50 TOPS, which performs AI tasks directly on the device – for example image processing, translations or intelligent searches, without having to rely on cloud services.
In the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Samsung goes one step further and combines the new CPU platform with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or 5070 laptop GPUs. The top model is therefore also aimed at creative users and gaming enthusiasts who value smooth video editing, AI-supported content creation and demanding games. Despite the high performance, the series remains efficient: a newly developed cooling system with vapor-chamber technology, enlarged cooling fins and optimized fans ensures even heat dissipation and low noise levels.
The battery life has also been noticeably improved. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro models achieve up to 30 hours of video playback, surpassing their predecessors by several hours. Thanks to the quick-charging function, the battery can be charged to over 60 percent in just 30 minutes, making mobile use much easier.
Slim design, brilliant displays and Galaxy AI in everyday life
In addition to pure performance, Samsung attaches great importance to design and user experience. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures just 15.4 millimetres, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro measures just 11.9 millimetres. This is made possible by a redesigned internal layout, thinner display edges and a precisely manufactured hinge. The result is a uniform, high-quality look with clear lines, curved corners and the centrally positioned Galaxy logo.
The displays are another highlight. The Ultra and Pro models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreens with high brightness, strong contrasts and an adaptive refresh rate of 30 to 120 Hz. Technologies such as Vision Booster and an advanced anti-reflective coating ensure good readability even in bright ambient light. Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC coating also increases resistance and significantly reduces reflections.
Galaxy AI plays a central role on the productivity side. Functions such as AI Select, intelligent search, note-taking assistants and image editing tools support everyday tasks directly in the system. The integration into the Samsung ecosystem is particularly strong: with Multi Control, Second Screen and “Link to Windows”, Galaxy smartphones, tablets and notebooks can be used seamlessly together. Files, inputs and even running apps can be used across devices, making efficient multitasking much easier. The overall package is complemented by Samsung Knox and Windows 11 Secured Core PC functions for a high level of security.
Conclusion
With the Galaxy Book6 series, Samsung is presenting a consistent further development of its notebook family at CES 2026. Powerful hardware, sophisticated cooling, long battery life and deeply integrated AI functions meet a slim premium design. The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 will be available in Germany from March 11, 2026, with an Enterprise Edition following in April. Prices have not yet been announced, but the features clearly position the series in the premium segment.
