Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1 TB storage also in Europe, all models with Exynos 2200

The usually very reliable leaker Ishan Agarwal has once again spoken about the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the three S22 models about three weeks before the planned Galaxy Unpacked event. According to this, the smartphone with 1 TB of storage will also be offered in Europe, but everything could remain the same in terms of the SoC.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 1 TB of memory

Those who are looking for a smartphone with a lot of internal storage will get their money’s worth with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, according to the leak. Thus, Ishan Agarwal assumes that the variant with 1 TB of internal storage will also be offered in Europe as the fourth size of the S22 Ultra.

However, the leaker did not reveal the working memory and price. It is conceivable that Samsung will provide the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 1 TB of storage with 16 GB of RAM – after all, the 512 GB model is supposed to have 12 GB of working memory. And even this model is supposedly already priced at an MSRP of 1,499 Euros.

Galaxy S22 series with Exynos 2200 after all?

However, the leaker contradicts another rumor . According to this, the entire Galaxy S22 series in Europe will apparently be shipped with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2200 SoC after all.

There were rumors of a worldwide release with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm, since Samsung canceled the presentation of its own chip at short notice. However, Agarwal now reports that Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra will still ship with the Exynos 2200 in Europe and the UK, while the Qualcomm counterpart will be used in other markets.

That would be quite a disillusionment for European Samsung fans. However, the leak is not set in stone yet. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to be officially unveiled on February 8.
