Samsung has already made its penchant for the color purple clear with its Galaxy S8 in Orchid Gray. Now the electronics company from South Korea also wants to make a commitment to the colorfulness of its current Samsung Galaxy S22. For this, they have presented the smartphone in the new color Bora Purple.
Color choice with tradition
The name itself already makes it clear that Samsung wants to commit to its roots here. After all, the word “Bora” comes from Korean and translates to purple. Samsung itself hopes to promote creativity and celebrate individuality with the newly available Fabre. In the end, the company probably wants one thing above all: To boost the sales of its current flagship once again. The timing is hardly surprising. After all, Apple will traditionally strike back in September with the presentation of the latest iPhone. This is rumored to feature a pill-shaped punch hole as well as an invisible Face ID module. However, the initial price of the iPhone 14 should also exceed the 1000 euro mark. Time therefore for Samsung to attack once again.
Samsung is into colors
With the Samsung Galaxy S22 Bora Purple, it once again becomes clear how much the company is into gaudy colors. Especially with the flagship, the South Koreans have always focused on the most diverse color variations. The Galaxy S8, S9, S22 and Z Flip3 in particular show the love for purple. It is therefore hardly surprising that the Galaxy S22 now gets its second purple color with Bora Purple.
Price and availability
Apart from the looks, nothing has really changed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 in Bora Purple. However, in view of the still more than just good technical features of the South Korean flagship, that is not necessary at all. Those who are interested in the smartphone in the new color do not have to wait long. The new color is supposed to find its way to the virtual as well as analog store shelves on August 10, 2022. The MSRP is 849 euros (128 GB) or. 899 Euro (256 GB).
