Samsung is launching a new special edition of its flagship S99H OLED TV: In collaboration with Canvas HiFi, the TV comes with a matching soundbar featuring a subtle wooden front panel that connects wirelessly to the TV, turning it into the central sound system for the living room. The display panel itself remains unchanged, as Samsung had already demonstrated as part of its 2026 OLED lineup. What’s new is the tight integration of picture and sound.
Two soundbar variants depending on screen size
The Canvas HiFi bundle is available for screen sizes ranging from 55 to 83 inches. The smallest 55-inch version comes exclusively with the more compact Canvas soundbar; for 65-, 77-, and 83-inch models, buyers can choose between the Canvas and the larger Canvas L variants.
Canvas HiFi has not yet released technical details on the larger model; for the smaller model, the specifications include two 29-millimeter silk dome tweeters, two 165-millimeter low-midrange drivers, and passive radiators with a frequency response ranging from 28 Hz to 24 kHz.
A 1,500-watt sound from 250 watts of amplifier power
Canvas officially specifies an output power of 250 watts for the Class D amplifier in the larger soundbar. In its marketing, however, the company promises sound performance that can rival that of traditional 1,000- to 1,500-watt soundbars.
The soundbar can also be used independently of the TV and plays music via Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon, Tidal, or Spotify Connect. When setting it up, users can choose between wall mounting, placing it on a standard TV stand, or using a separately available freestanding base.
Launching in October starting at 7,999 euros
The Samsung Canvas The HiFi S99H is expected to go on sale in October 2026, with a suggested retail price starting at 7,999 euros for the smallest model. With this, Samsung is positioning the special edition significantly above the standard S99H panel, as promoted during the Samsung Gaming Weeks 2026, for example. Canvas HiFi plans to provide further details on features and availability in the coming weeks.
