Samsung plays out faulty update

Samsung’s S21 family devices are currently receiving an approximately 1.1 GB update with the latest Android security patch. According to reports from users, the update is buggy and blocks functions.

Play Store becomes inaccessible due to update

According to some reports from users who have already received the update, it is said to delete the device’s Play Protect certification, which means that purchases from the Play Store are no longer possible. Apparently, this cannot be prevented.

Affected users are advised to use the “Get Help” function in Samsung’s Members app and to inform the support about the problem. It can be assumed that the problem will be fixed soon with another update. Until then, those affected have no choice but to wait.
