SAPPHIRE Technology introduces new NITRO+ All in One CPU water cooling systems

SAPPHIRE Technology has announced the latest additions to its NITRO+ gaming series product lineup: the two all-in-one SAPPHIRE NITRO+ S360-A and S240-A CPU coolers. Here, they install a high-quality hybrid rotor blade and 7th-generation Asetek pump, which in combination with EPDM hoses with nylon mesh jacket are said to provide excellent cooling performance.

SAPPHIRE Nitro+: Innovative NITRO+ hybrid rotor blade

At the heart of the SAPPHIRE Nitro+ AiO water cooling system is the newly developed and innovative hybrid rotor blade. A conventional axial fan is quiet, but does not generate enough air pressure to optimally convey the air through the radiator. A blower fan, on the other hand, has strong air pressure but gets quite noisy at high speeds.

The NITRO+ design of the hybrid fan combines the strengths of the two types, improving air pressure while maintaining a particularly quiet fan noise. Internal testing showed an improvement of 4 °C and 5 dBA over other fans, respectively.

For low CPU loads, the speed of the pump and fan is adjustable on the fly. The user can adjust the speed of the pump and fan to provide quieter operation and longer life for the pump and.

The AIO hoses made of EPDM have a sheath of nylon mesh. This effectively minimizes the degree of liquid evaporation while minimizing damage from friction or collisions for extra long life.

Of course, visuals also play an important role in a gaming setup, which is why the new SAPPHIRE Nitro+ AiO water cooling system relies on extensive ARGB lighting. Both the heatsink fans and the pump feature ARGB that can be controlled and regulated via the motherboard.

Once the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AIO CPU cooler is in operation, the frame of the spider-like pump cap and the stylish NITRO+ eyes light up with ARGB. Through the ARGB passthrough port, users can connect another ARGB device to expand and customize the gaming PC according to their own ideas.

Seventh Generation Asetek Pump

The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AIO CPU cooler series uses Asetek’s 7th Generaon pump, a pump and coldplate designed for performance, delivering up to 15 percent higher cooling performance over previous generations of Asetek’s top-of-the-line solutions. This is an industry first: it is the first desktop liquid cooling product with out-of-bounds temperature sensing.

The liquid temperature is continuously monitored by the chiller. When needed, pump speed is automatically increased to keep temperatures low for smooth, uninterrupted system operation.

The SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AIO CPU cooler series is consistently capable of handling high-end CPUs from both AMD and Intel. The excellent cooling performance combined with low noise achieves better results compared to conventional air cooling. In addition to Intel’s LGA 115X, 1200, 20XX and 1700 products, all of AMD’s AM4 products are also supported.
