Wired or Wireless: What Are the Differences?
In terms of core performance, there’s little difference between the two models: The wireless version also achieves the 8,000-Hz polling rate as soon as it’s connected via USB-C. When operating purely wirelessly via the 2.4-GHz connection, the actual polling rate is likely to be lower in practice; SCUF has not yet provided specific figures on this. Anyone who values every tenth of a millisecond will opt for the wired version anyway, priced at $119.99. Those who prefer to play wirelessly and are willing to pay an additional $80 for the convenience can get the wireless version—including USB-C fallback—for $199.99.
Prices, Availability, and Shipping Date
Pre-orders have been open since August 26, 2026, via SCUFGaming.com and select retail partners. SCUF has not yet announced official prices in euros, but according to initial German reports, they are expected to be announced shortly. The manufacturer has cited fall 2026 as the delivery date; an exact date has not yet been set.
SCUF Builder, Companion App, and Over 160 Patents
The controllers can be customized in two ways: via the SCUF Builder for visual design and through a companion app for Windows, where button mapping, stick and trigger curves, and calibration can be adjusted. SCUF also highlights over 160 patented innovations from 15 years of controller development, including the removable paddle system of the Nemesis series.
Tobias Brinkmann, Senior Vice President at CORSAIR, on the launch:
“SCUF has always been committed to offering gamers the very best through uncompromising innovation and a consistent focus on performance. The Nemesis Pro 8K PC controller family is our most advanced line of PC controllers to date, delivering the speed, precision, and customization that competitive gamers need to perform at their best.”
How does the Nemesis Pro 8K stack up against the competition?
An 8,000 Hz polling rate is no longer a unique selling point in the PC controller market. For SCUF itself, the Nemesis Pro 8K is primarily a further development of its own PC lineup: Anyone who has already used the SCUF Reflex Pro should quickly find their way around the layout. On the console side, the SCUF Omega remains the benchmark model; with the Nemesis Pro 8K, SCUF is now following suit on the PC.
Whether the 8,000 Hz actually results in noticeably lower latency in practice or remains more of a marketing gimmick can only be determined through testing. As soon as we have a test unit, we’ll update this post.
Conclusion
With the SCUF Nemesis Pro 8K, SCUF brings its PC controllers up to the latest technical standards: a high polling rate, TMR sticks to prevent stick drift, mechanical buttons, and a dual-mode trigger, plus the usual customizability via the app and Builder. The U.S. prices of $119.99 and $199.99, respectively, position the controllers in the high-end price segment, where they’ll have to compete with models like the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro 8K. Until German prices are finalized and the first review units become available, pre-ordering starting August 26, 2026, remains the most concrete next step.
