Sharkoon ELITE SHARK CA700: Premium case officially presented

With the ELITE SHARK CA700, Sharkoon has introduced a new premium PC case in a unique design. Up to eight RGB fans and a water cooling system with two 360 mm radiators can be accommodated in the futuristic giant case.

Futuristic Open-Frame Design

The Sharkoon ELITE SHARK CA700 PC case could have come straight out of a science fiction movie in terms of its looks. It comes up with huge dimensions of 63.2 x 25.0 x 67.0 cm (L x W x H) and offers enough space for high-quality components.

Sharkoon relies on an open-frame design to achieve ideal cooling performance. Up to eight installation options for 120-millimeter RGB LED fans, five of which are already included from the factory, effectively cool down the installed components in the process. Two 120 mm PWM fans with addressable RGB LEDs are pre-installed at the front, while three fans of the same size are pre-installed at the top of the case.

In addition, two 360 mm radiators can be installed at once, each on the top of the case and next to the motherboard. The pump or the expansion tank can either be mounted upright on the bottom of the case or with its back screwed to a removable mounting plate next to the motherboard tray.

The open side panels also allow the installed components to be displayed with lush RGB lighting. Optionally, the graphics card can also be installed vertically to better showcase it as well and illuminate it through the tempered glass side panel.

The Sharkoon ELITE SHARK CA700 relies on a hexagonal shape and comes with an adjustable base that can be locked in four positions. PTFE coatings at the bottom of the case front allow the front panel to be opened smoothly to inspect the front fans without leaving scratches on the paint. The front and top flaps also open to allow access to the RGB fans.

Lots of space

Space is definitely not a problem in the huge Sharkoon ELITE SHARK CA700. Large graphics cards up to 47.5 centimeters in length can be installed in the case. In addition, up to six 2.5-inch SSDs or two 3.5-inch HDDs can be installed. The CPU can be equipped with a cooler with a size of up to 16.5 centimeters.

The addressable RGB lighting is featured by Sharkoon with 20 modes and can be synchronized with various motherboards such as MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion Ready and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

On the front of the case, Sharkoon installs a panel that offers a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB 3.0 ports, and 3.5mm jack connectors for headphones and microphone. The package also includes two frames at once for installing a vertical graphics card, one for cards that require two slots and one for cards that require three slots.

Price and Availability

The Sharkoon ELITE SHARK CA700 case is available now at a suggested retail price of 399.00 EUR.
