Sharkoon M30 series comes for office and gaming area

Sharkoon has presented two new cases that are supposed to be real jack-of-all-trades. The Sharkoon M30 Black and M30 RGB are the successors of the M25. While the “Black” version is supposed to serve as a reserved office PC, the M30 RGB wants to make gamers’ hearts beat faster with its color effects.

Sharkoon M30 offers something for every taste

In terms of their basic design, the Sharkoon M30 Black and M30 RGB are the same. At the same time, both offer an eye-catching front that is not too obtrusive with its round shapes. Here, Sharkoon relies on high-quality mesh, which not only looks modern, but should benefit the airflow on top of that. Regardless of the version, both cases offer a fast USB-C port that is easily accessible on the top. When it comes to cooling, you have the option of installing a maximum of seven 120 mm fans. Water cooling is also supposed to be possible. With its restrained design, the Sharkoon M30 Black is more suitable for everyday office use. At the same time, it lives up to its name with its elegant black side panels.

From the factory, there are two SilentStorm BW120 PWM fans here, which are located on the front as well as the back. In order not to destroy the clean black look, they naturally come without RGB. Sharkoon relies on a hydrodynamic sleeve bearing so that they always provide sufficient cooling even during sweaty work of the computer. Thus, up to 1,400 revolutions per minute should be possible. Replaceable vibration dampers also ensure the longest possible lifespan. Gaming fans, on the other hand, should take a look at the M30 RGB. This offers the advantages of the Black version, but scores with a bit more flashiness in terms of looks.

This already starts with the case, which offers a transparent side panel made of tempered glass. Thus, you can risk a look into the illuminated interior. Two SilentStorm BW120 fans are also found here ex-works, but while the one behind the front comes in a classic configuration, the fan at the back offers addressable RGB lighting. Gamers and demanding workhorses will be equally happy about the possibility to install GPUs with a length of up to 38 cm. Coolers for the CPU, on the other hand, may measure a maximum of 17.2 cm. Up to 22 cm should be possible for the power supply. Furthermore, the case offers room for a maximum of two 3.5-inch HDDs. Alternatively, four 2.5-inch SSDs are also possible.

Price and availability

Sharkoon M30 Black and M30 RGB seem to be a promising addition to the PC expert’s portfolio. Should you be interested in the cases, you can strike now. In the Black version, you get it for an MSRP of 69.90 euros. The gaming version M30 RGB is priced at 79.90 euros. You can also buy the new SilentStorm BW120 PWM fans for 8.99 Euros.
