These are two audio converters that are compatible with the most common mobile devices and with Android. They not only amplify the audio track of headsets and headphones with TRRS connectors, but can also work with voice transmissions thanks to an integrated microphone input. DACs with USB Type C
Both the Mobile DAC and the Mobile DAC PD have a USB type C connector built in, which allows the devices to be connected to compatible Android smartphones and tablets. Output devices with a TRRS jack plug can then be operated via the DAC, whereby the short cable of the Mobile DAC ensures uncomplicated handling at all times.
Especially the DAC PD has not only a TRRS jack socket and a USB type C plug, but also a USB type C socket. This offers the “Power Delivery” function and can thus charge the connected terminal device during use with an output of up to 60 watts. The compact design of both devices emphasizes the handling even more. The DACs fit in every pocket and offer the possibility to make the audio experience and the microphone transmissions more high-resolution always and everywhere.
The Japan Audio Society (JAS) has confirmed the improved audio experience of the Mobile DAC and Mobile DAC PD. Both devices deliver a sampling frequency of 96 kilohertz at 24 bits and a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 decibels. Not only are they compatible with standard headphone remote controls, they also offer a switchable hardware equalizer. Thanks to the preset presets, the sound can be further individualized and adjusted. Vintage classics with accentuated bass or treble, for example, are available.
