With the new Sharkoon S25 series, Sharkoon is expanding its case portfolio with three different models for different areas of application. While the S25-W2 ARGB focuses primarily on eye-catching lighting and hardware presentation, the S25 Silent is aimed at users who attach particular importance to quiet operation. The S25-V2, on the other hand, is positioned as a versatile and discreet solution for modern gaming and work PCs. Despite their different orientations, all models share key features such as USB Type-C, support for 360 mm radiators and flexible expansion options.

  • Three models for different requirements: ARGB, Silent and Standard
  • Support for up to seven fans and 360 mm radiators
  • Integrated USB Type-C port and external 5.25-inch bay
  • Space for large graphics cards and modern hardware components

Sharkoon S25 series focuses on flexibility and modern features

With the new Sharkoon S25 series, the manufacturer covers the various needs of modern PC builds. The cases are significantly simpler than the SK6 ARGB. The clear separation of the models is particularly striking. The Sharkoon S25-W2 ARGB is aimed at users who want to showcase their system visibly. To achieve this, the case combines a tempered glass side panel with addressable RGB lighting. An integrated 2-port ARGB controller enables the control of compatible lighting elements and offers individual customization options. A 120 mm ARGB PWM fan at the rear and another PWM fan at the front are already installed ex works.

The S25-V2, on the other hand, takes a much more restrained approach. The case has a simple design and focuses on functionality and a clean internal structure. Two pre-installed 120 mm PWM fans also provide solid basic cooling here. Both variants support the installation of up to seven fans and offer sufficient space for the latest high-end components.

Another feature of the series is the external 5.25-inch installation slot, which is still available. While many current cases do without optical drives completely, Sharkoon deliberately remains flexible here and allows the use of compatible expansions or drives. This is complemented by modern connections on the front, including USB Type-C and two USB 3.0 ports.

Sharkoon S25 Silent focuses on low volume

With the Sharkoon S25 Silent, the manufacturer is particularly targeting users who prefer a PC that is as quiet as possible. To this end, the case is equipped with a total of four integrated damping mats, which are designed to significantly reduce operating noise. This can make a noticeable difference in everyday use, especially with powerful gaming systems or productive work computers.

Despite the focus on quiet operation, hardware compatibility is maintained. The housing supports large graphics cards up to 38 centimetres in length and CPU coolers up to 17.2 centimetres in height. Power supply units can also be up to 22 centimeters long. Installation slots for up to two 3.5-inch or four 2.5-inch drives are available for data carriers.

The series is also well thought out when it comes to maintenance. Removable dust filters on the base make cleaning easier and are designed to reduce the build-up of dust inside. The S25-V2 and S25-W2 ARGB also feature a magnetic dust filter on the top. This keeps the cooling performance stable in the long term and makes cleaning uncomplicated.

Overall, the new Sharkoon S25 series appears plausibly positioned: modern features, solid hardware compatibility and different variants for individual requirements appeal to both gaming and silent PC users.

Conclusion

With the Sharkoon S25 series, Sharkoon delivers three differently oriented PC cases that combine modern features with flexible hardware support. The support for large components, USB Type-C and the option of 360 mm radiators are particularly impressive. While the S25-W2 ARGB appeals to visually oriented gaming systems, the S25 Silent is clearly aimed at fans of quiet PCs. The cases are available now and start at 54.90 euros RRP.
