Sharkoon SHARK XTend 16 & SHARK XTend 24: Illuminated power supply expansion cables

If you like it colorful inside your PC, then Sharkoon Technologies might have something exciting for you. The manufacturer has now introduced the Sharkoon SHARK XTend 16 and SHARK XTend 24, two power supply expansion cables to the graphics card and motherboard that feature addressable RGB lighting.

Sharkoon SHARK XTend 16 & SHARK XTend 24

If you also want to wrap the cables in color in your PC, the new power supply expansion cables Sharkoon SHARK XTend 16 and SHARK XTend 24 are a good choice. Both models feature easy installation.

For effortless installation and handling, the length of both cables has been ideally dimensioned at 30 centimeters for SHARK XTend 16 and 24.5 centimeters for SHARK XTend 24, according to the manufacturer. Both cables are also elastic, allowing for more flexibility during installation.

Furthermore, in order to be extensively usable in any PC and offer the greatest possible compatibility with all common power supplies and graphics cards, the SHARK XTend 16 is equipped with two 6+2-pin connectors, while the SHARK XTend 24 with its 24-pin connector is compatible with all commercially available motherboards with 24-pin ATX connectors.

Customizable RGB Lighting

The SHARK XTend 16 is designed for power supply to graphics card use and relies on 8 addressable RGB LED lights. The SHARK XTend 24, on the other hand, is used to connect the power supply to the motherboard, while a full 24 addressable RGB LEDs are used to provide a coherent illumination.

Both expansion cables can be customized in colors and effects via an RGB controller with 5V D-coded G-pin assignment. They can also be connected to an RGB controller or the motherboard’s RGB controller and are intended to complement existing lighting.
