Sharkoon SKILLER SGK60: Mechanical gaming keyboard comes with Kailh-BOX switches

Peripherals manufacturer Sharkoon has introduced the SKILLER SGK60, a new mechanical gaming keyboard that comes with Kailh-BOX switches as standard. However, there are three different switches of the full-sized keyboard to choose from, which can be used to customize the typing feel while typing or gaming.

SKILLER SGK60 with Kalih switches

Sharkoon’s new SKILLER SKG60 gaming keyboard relies on a choice of three dust-resistant Kailh-BOX switches that allow gamers to freely personalize their own typing experience. The choice is between feedback-less red switches, brown switches with haptic feedback and white switches with haptic and acoustic feedback.

The typing experience can thus be personalized as desired. Furthermore, they convince with a service life of at least 80 million clicks. All this is rounded off by a solid aluminum surface with a diamond cut. The keyboard also comes with 14 friction-resistant, double-injection PBT keycaps for long-lasting use without signs of wear.

Like its predecessors, the SGK60 also relies on RGB lighting. The accompanying software offers a choice of 20 unique lighting effects for the main keypad and the Edge Light – the lighting along the back of the keyboard. The keyboard controls the lighting effects, the intensity of which can be adjusted via the downloadable software. Separate keys also allow you to activate and deactivate the lighting.

Macro functions and media control

Various macros can also be set on up to twenty player profiles via the downloadable software of the Sharkoon SKILLER SGK60. Thereby, up to 391 macro actions can be set, whereby each action can be adjusted separately. A special macro button makes it possible to call them up in a flash.

In addition to a macro key, the SKILLER SGK60 also has the option of controlling the media player set on the computer via function keys. The function keys can be used to control the volume, switch between songs, or pause and resume them. Besides these, there are many other functions to make everyday life easier with quick access to all kinds of applications, such as emails or the explorer.

The gaming keyboard is also exceptionally long at 450 mm and offers enough space for frequent typists and gamers with a width of 165 millimeters and a height of 38 millimeters.

Price and Availability

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK60 is available now for a suggested retail price of 89.90 euros.
