Sharkoon SKILLER SGS40: New gaming chair presented

Sharkoon has presented a new gaming chair with the SKILLER SGS40. With this the manufacturer brings another chair for gamers to the already competitive gaming chair market.

Suitable for gamers and home office

Sharkoon takes an exciting step with his SKILLER SGS40. The Taiwanese company does not want to bring pure seating furniture for gamers onto the market. Instead, the gaming chair should be a suitable solution for gamers, but also for people working in the home office. The SKILLER SGS40 will be available in four different versions. These differ in the choice of materials and colour. In addition to a version with imitation leather, the gaming chair is also available with fabric cover. While the imitation leather has a more modern look, Sharkoon promises comfort and breathability in the fabric version.

High-quality workmanship

Almost anyone can sit on the SKILLER SGS40. This is not least due to the dimensions of the seat. At 59.5 cm x 53 cm, the chair offers a pleasantly large seat. According to Sharkoon, the chair is suitable for people with a maximum weight of 150 kg and a height of up to 200 cm. The backrest, with a height of 86 cm, can be adjusted in an angle of 90 degrees to 160 degrees. For the base of the SKILLER SGS40, the manufacturer has chosen durable and light aluminium. Steel is used for the frame. The frame construction itself has a diameter of 22 mm, which should provide sufficient stability. Of course Sharkoon also relies on castors here. These have a diameter of 7.5 cm. The positive image is rounded out by a brake function.

Sharkoon has given the gaming chair an individual comfort rocker function. According to the manufacturer, this should be lockable. It can be adjusted to an angle between 0 and 14 degrees in several steps. In order to be able to get through long gaming sessions and working days, Sharkoon relies on special moulded foam. It is said to offer a density of 60 to 70 kg/m³. The armrests are also adjustable. The backrests, which are based on a 4-way system, can be adjusted vertically and horizontally according to your own wishes. The SKILLER SGS40 offers a minimum seat height of 51.5 cm. This can be increased to a maximum of 59 cm.

Prices and availability

Sharkoon offers the SKILLER SGS40 in the colours black and black-grey. In addition to the colour, you can also choose the cover. You can choose between imitation leather and fabric. The manufacturer is calling for a UVP of 299 euros for its latest gaming chair.
