Shokz presents the OpenFit Pro with active noise reduction

Shokz is expanding its portfolio at CES 2026 with a new flagship model: the OpenFit Pro. The true wireless earbuds combine the characteristic open-ear design with active noise reduction for the first time without sacrificing open listening comfort. With state-of-the-art sound technology, longer battery life and smart controls, Shokz is marking another milestone in the development of open-ear audio solutions.

  • Synchronized dual diaphragm drivers for particularly clear and detailed sound
  • Adaptive open-ear noise reduction with triple-mic system
  • Dolby Atmos optimization with head tracking for an immersive audio experience
  • Up to 50 hours total battery life with charging case

Superior sound through dual diaphragm technology

The sound design of the OpenFit Pro is based on the new Shokz SuperBoost system, which consists of a synchronized dual diaphragm driver. The two diaphragms work in perfect harmony to deliver clearly defined highs, precise mids and a powerful, undistorted bass. The aerospace-grade aluminium PMI dome cap ensures stability, while the silicone cone material has been optimized for smooth, rich sound reproduction.

This technical basis is enhanced by Dolby Atmos compatibility with head tracking: movements of the head are detected in real time, making sound sources appear more spatially authentic – especially with films, games and immersive pieces of music. In addition, five preset and two customizable EQ profiles can be used via the Shokz app to shape the sound according to personal preferences.

Innovative noise reduction despite open design

The biggest technical challenge of classic open-ear headphones lies in effective noise control – and this is exactly where Shokz comes in with the open-ear noise reduction system. A triple-mic array precisely detects ambient noise, while the Ear-Canal Adaptive Algorithm compensates for acoustic interference factors in real time. The result is an amazingly effective attenuation of ambient noise without suppressing natural perception.

Whether in the office, at the gym or on the bike path – the user can use the Shokz app to determine how much outside noise should be reduced. This flexibility creates a seamless transition between concentration mode and situational awareness, making the OpenFit Pro significantly more versatile than its predecessors.

Comfort and endurance for everyday life

In terms of design, Shokz combines functionality with high wearing comfort. The unibody housing has a finely textured silicone finish, while the nickel-titanium earpieces provide flexible support and comfortable pressure distribution. Additional support elements improve the fit – especially for smaller ears.

In everyday use, the OpenFit Pro scores with up to 12 hours of playback time per charge (without ANC) and up to 50 hours of total runtime via the charging case. If active noise reduction is activated, there are still 6 hours of continuous use. Practical features such as 10-minute fast charging for 4 hours of playback, wireless charging, IP55 protection, physical control buttons and automatic wearer detection round off the premium claim.

Conclusion on the Shokz OpenFit Pro

With the OpenFit Pro, Shokz redefines the open-ear standard: a balanced compromise between openness, sound strength and noise control. Thanks to the combination of dual diaphragm technology, adaptive noise reduction and future-proof Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity, the model offers a high-end experience for everyday life, sport and entertainment.

The Shokz OpenFit Pro will be available for pre-sale from January 6, 2026 in black and white at en.shokz.com. The price is 249 euros, including a two-year warranty.
