Skoda Vision 7S: New E-SUV study presented

With the Skoda Vision 7S, the manufacturer wants to offer an e-SUV from 2026 that positions itself once again above the Enyaq. And has now revealed exciting first details .

Skoda Vision 7S: Larger E-SUV from 2026

The manufacturer plans to usher in a new era of design language with the all-electric Skoda Vision 7S SUV from 2026 and has now unveiled the concept in detail. The SUV focuses on a clear, simple design, high functionality, intuitive operation and sustainable materials.

The front end, including the striking apron and illuminated graphics, which Skoda itself calls the “tech deck face,” is striking and new. The front headlights move outward and provide a real eye-catcher thanks to the four-eye light graphic in a T-shape. The roofline slopes slightly to the rear, while below, an aluminum driving guard and the large, aerodynamically optimized wheels, catch the eye.

Inside, a variable architecture accommodates up to seven passengers. A baby seat can apparently even be placed in the center console between the first and second rows of seats. The generous dashboard, which extends to the doors, features haptic and virtual interfaces that interlock for convenient operation.

Added to this is ambient lighting, which is not only intended to create a pleasant atmosphere in the interior, but also to provide information about the charging status of the Vision 7S. The backrests of the front seats have holders for multi-media devices such as tablets or similar.

Sliding controls

The interior of the Skoda Vision 7S is said to be particularly variable. It offers two spatial configurations in “drive” and “relax” modes, in which the controls are moved.

In drive mode, all controls are aligned within optimal reach. The central touchscreen is moved to a vertical position to reveal more relevant driving information.

In Relax mode, the steering wheel and instrument panel slide toward the dashboard, while the front seats slide back to allow more space and comfort for all passengers. As revealed back in September, the company plans to make greater use of recycled materials. The floor, for example, is to be made of recycled car tires.

In addition, there is a battery with a capacity of 89 kilowatt hours, which should enable a range of up to 600 kilometers. According to Skoda, the maximum charging power will be 200 kilowatts, which indicates that the vehicle’s battery can be charged in a comparatively short time.

The Skoda Vision 7S is expected to be around five meters long, once again surpassing the current top model in the form of the Enyaq, which now masters Plug & Charge. The study, on the other hand, is more of an exploration of what is possible before the production model is launched in 2026. So we could still be in for some changes here, especially since concrete technical details are still pending anyway.
