Shortly before Christmas, the gaming specialist SPC Gear, SilentiumPC’s gaming brand, presents two new products that significantly strengthen its own portfolio. These are the gaming table GD100 and the monitor table mount Atlas 100.
GD100: A robust, tidy gaming table
The GD100 rests on two strong and, more importantly, wide steel legs that should effortlessly support the loads built on top of it. The table top, made of wood, is reinforced by two additional supports for the same reason. In all this is also protected for the protection of the floor on which stands the massive table: The GD100 has a rubber buffer on the feet, which also ensures that the entire table can be easily moved.
The fact that the table top is made of wood is hardly noticeable. It is painted in a carbon look, which serves not only aesthetic purposes, but also to repel scratches: The coating is particularly resistant and should thus allow the table to last.
Another special feature that turns the simple desk into a gaming table can be found under the tabletop: a special metal shelf, which serves for cable management, and a power strip are installed here. In addition, the table comes with some self-adhesive Velcro fasteners as well as plastic hooks, which, in combination with the special metal construction on the underside of the tabletop, also serve to guide cables.
Atlas 100: Improved ergonomics with monitor table mount
In addition to the gaming table, the Atlas 100 monitor table mount was introduced. This is primarily intended to improve ergonomics. The easy-to-install mount, which only needs to be screwed to the edge of the table and can consequently be attached without tools, allows a standless monitor to be equipped with various ergonomic features. For example, it allows the monitor to be rotated by up to 90 degrees, tilted at angles between 35 and -35 degrees, and the height of the monitor to be adjusted. Ultimately, it serves primarily as a supplement to non-ergonomic monitors alone, which can be comfortably attached to the edge of the table with its help. It can be used in conjunction with the GD100 gaming table.
