SPC Gear SR400: SilentiumPC with new gaming chair

SPC Gear, the gaming label of hardware manufacturer SilentiumPC, has introduced a new series of gaming chairs. The SPC Gear SR400 series focuses on high durability, eye-catching looks and compelling comfort.

Comfort meets style

The manufacturer equips three models in the new SR400 lineup with high-quality, eco-friendly PU leather upholstery, while two models come with breathable fabric upholstery. The backrest and seat are made of molded foam and are designed to provide maximum comfort.

Different, more or less eye-catching color schemes of the SR400 and SR400F models should make the gaming chairs attractive for gamers as well as for a more dignified office environment.

Inspired by race car bucket seats, the series is meant to provide the utmost comfort even during extended gaming sessions. In particular, the key areas of the spine, especially in the lumbar and cervical regions, are to be optimally supported and relieved.

Two special cushions made of memory foam are included with the gaming chair for this purpose. Their position can be adjusted according to the user’s preference. While the upper cushion is much softer and serves for relaxation, the lower one provides support for the lumbar region thanks to firmer foam.

Durable and full of variations

At the heart of the new SR400 and SR400F gaming chairs is the solid steel frame, which is supported by elastic straps. This ensures stability and high strength of all components in equal measure. The large wheels of the chairs, which can bear loads of up to 150 kg, are additionally convincing with a nylon layer, which is supposed to prevent scratching the floor.

In addition, the chairs, which weigh around 20.5 kg, convince with a versatile gas lift, which allows users to adjust the seat height to their own body size – the ideal range is from 1.65m to 1.85m.

The backrest can also be tilted by up to 170° to an almost reclining position or set to 90° completely perpendicular to the seat surface. Thanks to the TILT function, the entire seat can also be tilted by up to 18°. The 3D armrests are similarly versatile, adjusting vertically and horizontally and even moving back and forth.
