With the Speedlink Gravity RGB Stereo Soundbar, the manufacturer expands its gaming audio portfolio with a compact and flexible soundbar that aims to score with a particularly low price, RGB lighting and a convincing stereo sound.
The Speedlink Gravity RGB Stereo Soundbar in detail
Gaming soundbars are very much in vogue. With the Razer Leviathan V2 (our review) and the Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2 (our review), two major manufacturers are already vying for gamers’ favor, and now Speedlink is joining them.
Their new Speedlink Gravity RGB Stereo Soundbar is particularly compact with dimensions of 420 x 64 x 70 mm (width x depth x height) and weighs just 640 grams. It realizes the sound via stereo and accordingly does without a virtual surround sound.
Of course, a colorful RGB illumination shouldn’t be missing, which creates a mood on the front left and right. There are also two ports that facilitate the use of headphones and microphones, so that annoying cable changes on the computer are spared.
The volume is fine-tuned using the dial above it, while the soundbar can not only be used wired, but also via Bluetooth with smartphones and other devices.
Sound is provided by two drivers and a passive radiator, which provide an output power of 12 watts at the peak and 3 watts each at the drivers. Covered is a frequency band from 120 Hz to 18,000 Hz at an impedance of 4 ohms.
This shows that you probably can’t compete with the competition in terms of sound – which is also much more expensive on the other hand. Especially since Speedlink has already shown with the Gravity RGB sound system (our review) that they can realize a good sound.
Price and Availability
The Speedlink Gravity RGB stereo soundbar is available in stores now. The recommended retail price is a reasonable 39.99 euros. You can find more details on the manufacturer’s product website.
