Stalker Online – Player data published in hacker forums

As part of the Dark Web Monitoring Project, the project Cybernews has discovered that the popular MMO Stalker Online has fallen victim to a successful hack. Criminals have stolen data from more than a million players. This data is currently being offered for sale on the dark web in various hacker forums similar to the recently closed Crimenetwork.co.

In addition to username and password, the offer also includes IP addresses, e-mails and even the phone numbers of 1.2 million players. The hackers are also said to have sold a further 136,000 records privately outside of public forums.

You can check whether you are also affected via this Tool. All Stalker Online users should change their password as soon as possible. If you use identical passwords for other services, it is recommended that you update them as a precautionary measure.
