According to the manufacturer, the new Teamgroup T-FORCE VULCAN Z SATA SSD should be ideal for those who want to upgrade their SATA storage device from a hard drive to a gaming SSD.
Thus, the manufacturer relies on “carefully selected” 3D TLC flash memory chips and realizes speeds of up to 550 MB/s read and 500 MB/s write. After all, four times as fast as a classic HDD.
Up to 2 TB capacity
Offered is the Teamgroup T-FORCE VULCAN Z SATA SSD with capacities ranging from 240GB to a maximum of 2TB. It comes in a flat, matte black design and thus fits very well in black PC builds.
The VULCAN Z SSD has an integrated automatic error correction (ECC) feature that significantly improves the accuracy of game data storage. In addition, the SATA SSD supports Windows TRIM optimization commands and uses S.M.A.R.T. condition monitoring technology, which together are said to improve read and write conditions to extend the life of the storage device.
Pricing and Availability
The VULCAN Z SATA SSD is expected to be available from mid-May 2022, starting at an MSRP of 28.99 euros for the 240 GB model. 480 GB will cost 45.99 Euros, while the 1 TB variant will cost 81.99 Euros.
