The Berlin sound professionals from Teufel are relaunching their popular Bluetooth 3-way stereo system BOOMSTER and making it fit for the year 2021. In the process, the now third generation has been comprehensively improved and now even offers protection against splashing water, which is why it cuts an even better figure in outdoor use.
Teufel BOOMSTER: The features of the Bluetooth speaker
The Bluetooth speaker system Teufel BOOMSTER is known for a high-quality sound and could fully convince in our test. Now the manufacturer presents the new edition of the portable system, which brings some exciting innovations.
Thus, the striking subwoofer brings a real bass driver, which for the first time additional reinforcement by two passive bass membranes supplemented. In addition, the 3rd generation BOOMSTER features Teufel’s Dynamore technology, which provides a much wider stereo panorama. In general, this should result in a better sound, which, with 42 watts RMS power, also turns out more powerful than its predecessors.
In addition, the subwoofer in the new BOOMSTER turns out invisible. This was necessary to achieve IPX5 certification, which protects the system against water jets. Thus, the Bluetooth speaker can even be operated in heavy rain. The integrated battery has a runtime of over 18 hours at moderate volume. Via USB-A, even mobile devices can be connected and charged directly on the speaker (5V, 2A).
Bluetooth 5.0, radio and more
Wireless audio signals are received by the Teufel BOOMSTER via Bluetooth 5.0 with apt-X support and offers TWS pairing with a second BOOMSTER, as well as multipoint connectivity for simultaneous connection with two smartphones. Digital and analog radio reception are also on board.
The BOOMSTER is operated with the help of the included remote control, a generous LED display behind the front grille informs about the most important details about the music or operation.
