Thermaltake presented the new Tower 100 at the Thermaltake Expo, which will take place from 2 to 4 June and is purely digital. This is a mini version of the Tower 900 Full Tower case.
The space available in the Tower 100 is very limited. So only a mainboard in Mini-ITX format fits in. There is room for a water cooling system, but not as much as in the Tower 900, which only has a 120 millimeter radiator on the top. Furthermore, a 140 mm fan can be placed on the power supply cover, but a radiator isn’t provided here.
It looks better with the compatibility of air coolers and graphic cards. The CPU cooler height is hardly limited with 180 millimeters, just as it is with 320 millimeters for the graphic card. Furthermore, an ATX power supply with 160 millimeters can be used. In addition to M.2 SSDs, two 2.5 or 3.5-inch hard disks can also be accommodated in the Tower 100.
Just like the Tower 900, the Tower 100 is equipped with glass panels at the front and sides. After removing the top part, the panes can simply be pushed out upwards. The I/O panel with USB Type-C, 2x USB 3.0 and HD audio is also located on the top part.
The Thermaltake Tower 100 is expected to cost $79.99, the white “Snow” edition $89.99. The case is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2020.
