Thermaltake View 300 MX: mid-tower case presented

With the Thermaltake View 300 MX, the manufacturer has introduced a new mid-tower case that is offered in white and black color. It features a dual front panel and comes with two pre-installed 200 mm and one 120 mm ARGB fan.

Just in time for gamescom 2022, the manufacturer has unveiled the new Thermaltake View 300 MX case, the latest model in the View series, which is also home to the legendary View 71 TG RGB, for example. The package includes two front panels: one made of tempered glass with mesh and one made of perforated steel for even better airflow, which you can switch between quickly and easily.

There is also a 4mm thick Tempered Glass side window that can be easily removed to reveal the installed components and RGB lighting. Keyword lighting: The new case, which is offered in black or white color, is already equipped with three illuminated fans ex works.

Two 200 mm ARGB PWM fans in the front and another 120 mm ARGB PWM fan in the rear are already installed. With the help of a button in the I/O panel or with the help of the motherboard’s software, you can also conveniently regulate and adjust the lighting.

Rotatable PCI-e slots

The Thermaltake View 300 MX also relies on the manufacturer’s patented rotatable PCI-e slots. Also offered is strong dust filtration via magnetic filters on the top and bottom, as well as a removable PSU cover.

The steel front panel in particular is said to provide excellent airflow inside, as cool air can enter the case from the front and exit from the back, as well as the top. The Tempered Glass front impresses with a more refined design, but also offers mesh openings all around.

The View 300 MX accepts motherboards of the sizes E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX. Power supplies can be a maximum of 200 mm long, graphics cards can be 280 mm long with heatsinks and even 400 mm long without, while CPU coolers can have a maximum height of 175 mm.

Overall, the 505 x 230 x 506 mm PC case weighs in at 10.4 kg. In the I/O panel, USB 3.2 (Gen 2) Type-C x 1, USB 3.0 x 2 and HD Audio x 1 are available. The front, top and right side of the case can accommodate several fans of different sizes, while an additional 120 mm fan can be installed in the back. Radiators for water cooling systems are allowed to grow to a maximum size of 360 mm at the front, rear and top.
