You can look forward to many innovations in the TP-Link IFA 2022 line-up. These include Tapo Smart Home, Wi-Fi 6E networks and integrated solutions for businesses. You can check out the new products and solutions in Hall 10.2 at Booth 102 at the Berlin show.
Tapo smart home devices
TP-Link will showcase new IoT products from Tapo at IFA 2022. Tapo’s broad catalog of smart home products enables smarter lifestyles through greater energy efficiency and reliable security and convenience features, including smart light bulbs, smart doorbells, surveillance cameras and more.
The 9W Tapo Smart Bulb (Tapo L530E) is a smart light bulb that is as bright as a traditional 60-watt bulb while being significantly more energy efficient. Thanks to more efficient components and eco-friendly features, including time-of-use scheduling and energy consumption monitoring, Tapo bulbs last up to 13.6 years. 15 times longer than usual and 2.5 times as much as regular energy-saving light bulbs.
With new indoor and outdoor security products from Tapo, it’s also possible to create your own security system. Among them, a security camera that can also be used as a baby monitor via the app. It sends notifications when someone enters the house.
The garage door can be controlled via a floodlight camera, while the camera lens can be physically hidden at the touch of a finger (Tapo C225) to protect privacy. Two-way calling is also possible with an intelligent doorbell (Tapo D230S1).
Additional comfort is promised by functional sensors and a smart hub from Tapo. Thanks to a motion sensor (Tapo T100), light bulbs light up automatically, while the Tapo Smart Theromstat (Tapo T315) ensures the ideal climate in good time thanks to a programmable temperature and humidity monitor. The hub also houses an integrated 90 dB alarm (Tapo H100) that scares off uninvited intruders.
TP-Link IFA 2022 innovations with Wi-Fi 6E
TP-Link itself also has some IFA 2022 networking novelties in tow. The Archer AXE200 Omni features innovative, mechanically rotating antennas. The rotating antennas can be automatically adjusted via the router or the app.
Antenna automation improves both wireless signal transmission and the user experience. The TP-Link Archer AXE200 Omni also features blazing fast 11 Gbps WLAN and multi-gigabit cable connections.
The Deco XE200 features the leading Wi-Fi 6E whole home mesh system and AI-driven mesh technology. It extends Wi-Fi coverage up to 6500 sq ft (as a 2-pack) with a capacity of over 200 devices. 16 high-gain antennas provide faster simultaneous transmissions and support multi-gigabit connections for VR and AR applications. It complements the TP-Link Deco XE75, which one had introduced in April 2022.
TP-Link’s Omada SDN (Software-Defined Networking) solution with the Omada Cloud-Based Controller was officially unveiled this year. Its advanced features provide the foundation for improved centralized management capability, increased efficiency for easier maintenance, enhanced security for better protection, and increased reliability for stable operation.
Thanks to Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), configuration is easily done on the go without the need for a technician to stop by. Automatic channel selection and performance tuning is also offered, while enterprises benefit from enhanced security as user traffic does not pass through the cloud.
High reliability is also ensured with 99.99% SLA availability, automatic fault detection around the clock and geographically isolated backup servers.
