Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX and USB Wireless Gaming Headsets

Manufacturer Turtle Beach expands its Stealth 600 headset series with two new wireless models. The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX focuses on latency-free wireless transmission and is compatible with all current consoles. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB focuses on an immersive wireless gaming audio experience with more than 24 hours of battery life.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX multi-platform wireless gaming headset offers over 48 hours of battery life and high-quality sound for gaming. Wirelessly, the low-latency gaming headset transmits via the proprietary, lag-free 2.4 GHz USB transmitter.

The preferred gaming system can be selected with the simple flip of a switch. Turtle Beach’s patented ProSpecs Glasses Relief System also keeps glasses wearers comfortable with two soft foam ear cushions.

Powerful 50mm diameter dynamic drivers are said to provide rich sound, while also enabling 3D surround sound. There is also a flip-to-mute microphone that is supposed to ensure clear communication. Of course, the manufacturer’s familiar features like Superhuman Hearing also return, which can be activated via the controls directly on the headset.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX is wirelessly compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac and covers the common frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Slightly cheaper turns out the little brother Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB, which as part of the “Designed for Xbox” series is aimed especially at owners of Microsoft consoles. It can communicate wirelessly with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X and Xbox One S, but is also compatible with PC and PlayStation consoles via the USB port.

Long battery life of more than 24 hours means less charging and more gaming, while a low-latency, lossless connection is ensured by Turtle Beach’s proprietary, lag-free 2.4 GHz USB transmitter.

Sound is once again provided by dynamic drivers with a size of 50 mm, which are equipped with neodymium magnets and also offer 3D surround sound. The closed over-ear headphones also cover a frequency band from 20Hz to 20kHz, while the omnidirectional microphone ensures clear intelligibility.

Prices and Availability

Both the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX and USB wireless gaming headsets will be available in stores on April 03, 2022. The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX will be offered in Black, Midnight Red or Arctic Camo. According to the press release, the MSRP is 129.99 euros. On the official homepage, however, they are listed for 139.99 euros.
