The TUXEDO Stellaris 16 enters its seventh round – and sets new standards in terms of performance, cooling and display technology. With a combination of desktop performance, efficient cooling, high mobility and a robust aluminum housing, the notebook is aimed at users with the highest demands. The HDR mini LED display, which is installed for the first time, is particularly exciting and also lifts the Stellaris into new visual spheres.
- Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX with 24 cores and high energy efficiency
- Up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 24 GB GDDR7 VRAM
- HDR mini LED display with 300 Hz and up to 1000 nits brightness
- Triple-fan cooling and optional external water cooling (TUXEDO Aquaris)
Desktop-level performance – in a mobile package
Inside the Stellaris 16 is the new Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. With 24 cores (8 P + 16 E cores) and a clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz, the CPU achieves a computing power that is otherwise only found in powerful desktop PCs. Depending on the configuration, it is supported by up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM and ultra-fast PCIe 5.0 SSDs, making the notebook particularly suitable for memory-intensive applications such as 3D rendering, video editing or complex compilations.
On the graphics side, there are three GPU options to choose from: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 5080 and 5090, which not only deliver impressive gaming performance, but are also characterized by high energy efficiency. Users can adjust the power supply and cooling parameters individually via the TUXEDO Control Center – for maximum performance or the quietest possible operation.
Cooled power in a sturdy all-aluminum housing
Thanks to its sophisticated 357 x 260 x 28 mm design, the Stellaris 16 efficiently accommodates its cooling without appearing too bulky. The all-aluminum housing not only offers a high level of robustness, but also improved heat dissipation. The newly developed triple fan system utilizes the entire width of the housing with three 80 mm fans and dispenses with inefficient side air outlets. Instead, the airflow is directed to the rear, resulting in a lower noise level.
For even more cooling power, the notebook can be coupled with the optional TUXEDO Aquaris water cooling system. This is connected to the device via hoses and not only lowers the temperatures, but also the noise level – ideal for creative professionals and power users in stationary use.
Mini LED display with HDR – a real eye-catcher
A special highlight of the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 is the new HDR mini LED display. It offers a QHD resolution (2560 x 1600), a refresh rate of 300 Hz and up to 1000 nits brightness in HDR mode. Thanks to over 1000 dimming zones, local dimming and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage, it not only delivers brilliant colors, but also excellent contrast – ideal for working in bright environments or for professional use in image and video editing. The panel is also a real premium solution for gamers.
The matte finish and high brightness also make the display ideal for outdoor use. At the same time, users benefit from an ergonomic keyboard with number pad and offset arrow keys as well as a well thought-out connection layout including rear ports for power, monitors and peripherals.
Versatility and future-proofing
Despite its high-end features, the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 is also equipped for mobile use. The 99 Wh battery enables over eight hours of runtime with reduced brightness – a remarkable value for a device in this performance class. The device can be charged with up to 140 watts via USB-C, which makes transportation easier. Two M.2 SSD slots (PCIe 5.0 and 4.0) and up to 128 GB RAM offer plenty of space for upgrades and data volumes of any size.
With connections such as HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and three USB-A ports, up to four external monitors and numerous peripherals can be easily connected. As with all TUXEDO devices, there is extensive support for Linux, including TUXEDO OS, Ubuntu or Kubuntu and optional Windows 11.
Conclusion
With the Stellaris 16, TUXEDO brings a notebook to the market that makes hardly any compromises. Desktop power meets mobility, high-end cooling meets sophisticated design. Particularly noteworthy is the HDR mini LED display, which brings a new level of image quality to the notebook segment. The basic configuration of the TUXEDO Stellaris 16 is available from 2479 euros, pre-orders are possible from Friday, with delivery starting in mid-June.
